“¹⁶ And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.
¹⁷ In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.
¹⁸ There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear [h]brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]” 1 John 4:16-18 (Amplified).

Any person who lives in Fear is NOT in or possess ASSURANCE. When we understand the Great Love the Lord has for us we are ASSURED AND COMFORTED that we are Secure in Him. In Christ Love [that was demonstrated on his Cross when He did die for all our sins to Justify us unto salvation], we can REST IN HIM AND HIS LOVE. He gives us CONFIDENCE AND ASSURANCE that we will not be punished because he has amply paid for our sins and HAS FINISHED HIS WORK FOR US. NOT ONLY HAS HE FINISHED THE PAYMENT FOR OUR SINS WITH HIS OWN BLOOD but He LIVES FOR US AND IN US PERFECTING US IN HIS LOVE. This as well gives us BOLDNESS to come to Him. When we do come to him HE ALWAYS RECEIVES US.

If any person is AFRAID, that person is NOT PERFECTED or grown up into MATURITY. His Love for us is a constant companion and assurance that all is under His blood and we are SAVED AND SAFE.

Many today live in FEAR, never fully understanding just what it was that JESUS CHRIST DID ON HIS CROSS . They always FEAR never fully knowing TRUE REST IN CHRIST. Fear brings with it… TORMENT. This is the enemy who has COME TO DESTROY as he always tries to do. The enemy wants to keep many INSECURE and away from or separated from the knowledge of THE LORD JESUS’ LOVE. He continually will tell them they are NOT LOVED and that Jesus is bad because he is not pleased with them. He continually tries to keep them depressed and feeling CONDEMNED. The enemy lies, because we know according to Romans 8:1 that there is NOW NO CONDEMNATION TO THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST. But… the enemy constantly tells many that they MUST STRIVE TO KEEP IN GODS FAVOR. The fact is many are STRIVING TO ENTER IN when IN JESUS WE ARE IN HIM AND RECEIVED. HE IS HAPPY WITH US AND LOVES US ALWAYS. but the enemy wants to keep people seeking to be accepted with the Lord [when in reality they already are because of his sacrifice for or atonement for the sins…].

PERFECT LOVE WILL CAST OUT ALL FEAR AND SETTLE PEACE IN YOUR HEART. ALL WHO HAVE IT CAN REST AND BE HAPPY OR FILLED WITH JOY. Those who are there are knowing IT IS NOT BECAUSE WE LOVE HIM BUT THAT HE FIRST LOVED US AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR US.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” Romans 8:1.
