All things are given to us by the Father of all things through His creation.

It’s one way He speaks to us constantly.  Giving all He has made, the Father intends for us to know Him more.

The thought of this is lovely to me.

Even when we are not seeking, or when we appear to be focused on other things; no matter what we are doing, He is surrounding us.

He designed everything to show His glory to us, so that we might partake in Him in all things.

The awareness of this is found in that beautiful moment of revelation, when our eyes are opened to what He is showing us.

“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.  We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence,”   2 Peter 1:3.

In between sleeping and waking, I heard in my spirit, “The Great Butterfly Exchange.”

Knowing this would be something I did not want to miss, I asked Holy Spirit to tell me more.

Something for nothing!

“This transformative process takes place because the butterfly draws from the flower.

Drawing from My sweet things, you will be filled and light at the same time.

This changes you into the flower I want you to be.

From creature to plant and plant to creature, the exchange is good – and intentional – both have need of the other.

An interconnected creation shows Me well – My BODY, all for you; and you, all for My BODY, to grow to health BOTH entities.

Benefits of living together in a small space and honoring the other creation are made manifest in this process ~

1)  Butterfly lands and draws.

2)  Flower produces and gives.

3)  Butterfly is filled and flies to another creation.

4)  Flower rests and re-produces.

Both are invigorated and live from the giving and taking — this beautiful exchange is an example to you of My Goodness in every detail of life.

Let no other thing deter you from this exchange.  It is mighty in acts of importance for you — to give and receive — to go away full and pour out — to return and rest — to take and share with others.

These are simple truths missing today in your world.  Keep hold of them, so they do not die out forever.

For as the trees blossom in the spring and seasons change, these truths will stand; but many fail to recognize and apply them to living, which is the point of it all.

Tremendous growth takes place in the dead of winter, and no one sees because it is dormant, but notice in the spring how LIFE ABOUNDS.

It is in the RESTING TIME that this happens.

And so it will continue until the day of My Return — seasons, exchange, growth; living in the routines established from the beginning- UNTIL the DAY of CHANGE complete — and then you will KNOW it all — Seeing clearly the plan from the beginning — for I AM the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End, and this is MY book to write — and you will participate in this exchange with Me in it!

WRITE — POUR OUT — REST — WAIT — PUBLISH — RECEIVE — POUR OUT — REST — WAIT — PUBLISH — RECEIVE — this is MY cycle for you.

And I will direct it and be with you in it, always, at every turn, I will remind you, ‘at a glance’, what to do and what stage you are in, if you only submit these to Me — your TIME and THOUGHTS.”

Participating in the EXCHANGE

Consider these questions,

What will you pursue with your time and thoughts?

What cycle will you participate in with your Father God?

In what ways will you be His display of Thanksgiving?

It’s exciting to consider a new direction, but with God’s direction and being in it with you, it’s completely exhilarating!

As much as I realize the ‘writing’ part is not for everyone reading this, I do believe Holy Spirit is speaking to you, even right now about the particular cycle He has designed for you to move in with Him.

Creative pursuits of all kinds are hidden in our hearts, and as we desire to move in those, He draws them out of us; this is the exchange we have with Him, modeled in creation in hundreds of mutual relationships.

Jesus explained what His followers could not understand at the time, and what we continue to have trouble grasping when He said, “However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come,”   John 16:13.

Along these lines, I need to tell you that I am not a particularly science-minded person.

The butterfly and flower cycle Holy Spirit described to me was one I wanted to look into more closely to verify the details.

Although I understand the basic cycle of insects and flowers, what I found gave me such delight and affirmed my spiritual hearing.

Indeed, when I looked up the mutuality of the relationship between butterflies and flowers, it is the exact great and beautiful exchange, just as He explained it to me in the spirit.

We need to always remember, Holy Spirit truly is our guide and our teacher in all things. Trusting His Voice and moving with Him will always bring new revelation understanding and great satisfaction.

Going forward in our relationship with Him and applying these truths to all we do causes all of creation to flourish for HIS GLORY!

Just as Jesus promised, “All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you,”   John 14:25-26.

May we be found giving thanks in every breath for all God does, and partnering with Him as He leads us into greater pursuits for His glory.
