In this particular season we are in, I believe that God is saying that the “door” is a critical part of the believers inheritance and the sinners opportunity to an open heaven, if they will repent and accept the benefits that God has for each of His dear children.

But, the very first door that the sinner must be willing to accept is the door to salvation, which will lead to many more doors, after accepting the door of salvation!

Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the **door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.  But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep,”   John 10:1-2.

So, many people are seeking for God in either all the wrong places, or they are accepting counterfeit voices that are pointing them in the wrong direction when it comes to salvation!

For I believe that it is the trick of Satan to deceive the people into thinking that they are hearing God, when in all actuality it is the enemy, disguising himself as the voice of God, in order to bring the people into the portal of hell.

**Strong’s Concordance G2374 stated that a “door” (θύρα thura {thoo’-rah}) is an opportunity; a portal or entrance (the opening or the closure, literally or figuratively) to a door, or gate.

Whether it be a door of truth or a door of deception Strong does not state, but one thing for sure, it confirms it grants access in, out or to some pathways leading to a direction.

I believe when Jesus was talking He was saying that this door is important because it gives access to The Keys of Heaven and other important benefits relating to the believers destiny.

With these Keys, I believe the believers will be granted many opportunities to receive the benefits that God has for each one of His children as they learn to obey His voice!

Not only will the believers be granted the privileges of access to what is behind these doors, but the sinner by the grace of God will also be given a free choice to either make a decision to either accept or to reject these benefits as well!

Jesus tried to warn the Church what a true Shepherd looks like, so that The Body of Christ would not be deceived by those pretending to be Shepherds of the flock!

He said that the true Shepherd cares for the flock, the false ones are nothing but thieves and robbers who only care for the flesh or the fleece.

This is why He refused to grant just anyone access to the sheep which he could not identify as being one of His sheep, and which could not recognize His voice as their Shepherd, (John 10:4-5).

You almost have to wonder why it is so many are still being deceived when they are reading the same exact Bible you read!

The’re supposed to have the same exact Holy Ghost, and yet they fail to discern the Shepherd from a wolf, or the sheep from the goats?

Yet we can only come up with one sad answer as Christ did; “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice: and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”   (John 10:16)

That answer is that many have never heard His voice!

Because when you have heard the voice of God for yourself for the very first time, it will be a voice you will never forget again and you will know who God is and so when you meet an unrecognizable voice, it will leave you in shear curiosity, wondering with a check in your spirit, like a little child wondering who is this stranger and just what will they do?

The people of God are compared to sheep.  They are harmlessness and have a gentle character, their feebleness and quiet spirit is identified as to being like sheep in the fold — which is a profitable use to identify the nature of a sheep, their defenseless state, requiring some one always to watch over them and to tend to them daily — which also identifies the sheep as having the patience with which they are led to the shearer as dumb or to the slaughter, and the constancy with which they are associated with sacrifice, and which renders the sheep a most excellent symbol of the people of God.

This is why so many false prophets have become greedy, manipulative and deceptive; as well as controlling, because they know and realize the sheep’s vulnerability.

But Jesus, being who He is, did not leave the sheep without help because He said, “And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they {know not} the voice of strangers,”   (John 10:5)

Yet, many continue to follow the wolf!  And, the reason being they have not heard His voice and they don’t recognize who He is, and neither does He recognize them, and so the door and access to the portal of salvation and the inheritance of God remains closed.

Then we wonder why no open heaven is over our heads, because we failed to enter in by the door of the sheepfold!

Heretics attract who their companies are, but the faithful followers of Christ never go after them.  They cleave to the truth, which is the voice of Christ, and they will not be persuaded by the most marvelous lying wonders, nor by the greatest arrogance, to depart from him who is their all.

Believing God is God does not make you a sheep, just as going to Church won’t make you a disciple!

Remember, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble,”   (James 2:19).
