It’s Easier Said Than Done!

You grow up in a family, and an environment that isn’t financially well-off, and you being the ambitious and determined person you are, seek to obtain an education that today can possibly break the bank.

You are minded of the many issues and challenges that comes with the first steps in acquiring an education, and immediately you are being pressured psychologically, even before you would have started, and attempt to figure out ways of paying your tuition.

Right there and then you are found within an oppressive and a possible traumatic situation, and since you are financially dependent and are unable to rely on family support; you being on your own are already being seen and observed as meat to hungry men who roam the streets waiting on opportunities to lurk at every young woman’s door.

Do you cower back, and fall into self-pity because life isn’t the way you desire it, or do you muster the strength within and fight your way out?

Here’s what: it’s easier said than done.

For the men and women stationed within air-conditioned work spaces from nine to five [and this isn’t me trying to make white-collar jobs a problem, because it isn’t, but this is my need to point out the compassion that is lacking and forbidden on their part] and are seen making policies without having some experience of the issues or get some feedback from the people working with and around these difficult areas, it’s a shame on your part.

We are a collective body of people living within a society and are unable to find support for the people who are really in need of help and support?

The resources we’ve been blessed with; people being one of them, and the material resources are at our finger tips.

This is not being said out of maliciousness towards a person and is being spoken on the basis of truth.

Can the men and women operating within these trusted positions in our societies actually take the time to address and deal with the areas and issues they know for sure are being ignored and overlooked by folks who have decided to turn a blind eye?

There are generations of men and women who will not be wasted and hidden.

They may not look like the people we see around us every day but these men and women are gifted, talented and possess the ability the world needs and we cannot afford to miss out on what they have to offer because some are ignorant, grudgeful and are unprepared to see them shine.

The time is now and now is the time because within them are answers the world needs.

After The Wilderness Experience

Sometimes the people who knew you before your wilderness experience, will become uncomfortable and confused about the person you have become, because the person they celebrated and loved years ago, God crucified and killed in the wilderness.

But can I tell you?  The children of Israel were not the same persons the Egyptians knew in Egypt.

To enter their Promised Land, God had to crucify and kill who they were and were known to be.

By the time they got to their Promised Land, they became total strangers to what and who knew them, because what those who knew them were looking for and expecting was no more.

Beloved, never try to hinder God’s doing in your life, to remain relevant or pleasing to others.

Surrender to His Will and allow Him to have His way in you.

Remember, you live for an audience of One, Christ Jesus.

Celebrate who God has made you and let people hate.

Those who are supposed to love and receive you will.
