At Least 50% Will Suffer Greatly and Many Will Die! — 8 Comments

  1. Luke 21:35-37 King James Version (KJV)

    35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

    36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

  2. Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

  3. First we are told, “No man is saved because he or she is perfect and deserving even of salvation, but simply because they BELIEVED IN ME AND MY ETERNAL WORK FOR SIN.” In short we are saved because we believe. We do not have to be perfect or earn it in anyway. However, later we are told that we need to put on righteousness and walk in holiness. So on one hand our salvation is NOT based on how behave, yet on the other hand it is. We do not have to be perfect, but we DO have to be perfect.

    We are also told that at least half of Christian believers are going to suffer God’s wrath. God’s wrath is on those who are not saved. Therefore, even though this claims to NOT be about salvation, reading between the lines, it is.

    Never mind these Scriptures:

    Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

    It does not state that some of us will be saved. There is no indication that only a special select group of self righteous people who think they are holy will be spared.

    1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

    This article tells us that there will be at least half Christians, people who believe in Jesus, who have been saved, whom Jesus is NOT going to deliver from the wrath to come. Thus this article is saying the Bible is lying. There is absolutely no hint in this verse that only a few special ones are going to be spared. If Jesus will only deliver a select few, then this verse is lying. Obviously it is not, so someone is.

    1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

    Again, we are not appointed to wrath. Again, there is no inkling that it is only a select group of individuals that qualify. Granted, those who think they qualify actually think they are holy. Think they are that is.

    It says, faith in Jesus alone is not enough. You must keep yourself saved by living holy (aka perfect). Some actually think that they are living holy because they think they are behaving themselves enough.

    How does a person become holy? Firstly is a verse that those who preach holiness NEVER mention.

    Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

    It clearly tells us that the Lord alone is holy. Logically we conclude that since only the Lord is holy, that means that no one else is. What part of “For thou ONLY art holy” is not understood? (Caps are mine for emphasis.)

    So how can we be holy like the Lord? What is required of us? We are often told to be holy but not told how to be holy.

    It is not based on our obedience to the Law as some would think.

    Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

    The Law does not make anyone holy. It does not say, “Wow, look at what a great person you are!” Rather, “Ugh, look at how sinful and wicked you are!” It says, “Guilty!”

    21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

    The righteousness of God is by FAITH of Jesus Christ. This righteousness is to ALL and upon ALL who BELIEVE. It is not only for those who have earned it in some way by obeying the Law or behaving themselves.

    23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    We are justified FREELY. If we have to do anything like behave ourselves or anything, then it is no longer free. It is a debt God owes us. “Lord, since I believed, I behaved myself. Now You OWE me justification because I EARNED it. Pay up!”

    25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

    He is justifier of those who believe in Jesus.

    27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

    There is not one of us which can boast that we will be spared God’s wrath because we earned it by our holy living or behaving ourselves. What most consider holy living is self righteousness.

    Consider Paul. He says in Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

    Some people think they can trust in their flesh, in their own goodness, their own holiness, but they have nothing on Paul.

    5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

    Just look at his credentials. Also he declared he was blameless concerning the Law. Who amongst us has kept the Law and not just the 10 Commandments?

    7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

    Despite all that, he considers it nothing compared to having Jesus. He does not cling to his obedience to the law, to his holiness, to his own righteousness. He chooses Jesus. He does not say, “Well look at me and my holiness!”

    9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

    Our own righteousness, our self righteousness in other words, is OF THE LAW. So those who try to obey the Law or what most call living a holy life are relying on their own self righteousness. Instead of the faith of Christ that is by FAITH.

    Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

    Some think this is talking about unrighteousness. Read it again. It says that ALL our RIGHTEOUSNESSES are as filthy rags. Take that to heart. Not some of our righteousness but ALL. EVERY SINGLE ONE is nothing but FILTHY rags. Does anyone really think that they are going to waltz into Heaven because they think on their own they were holy enough? That they behaved themselves enough? Do some actually think that their righteousness is going to stand up against the righteousness of God? Completely absurd! Which is better? To walk into Heaven wearing nasty rags or to wear His righteousness? Sadly, some choose their filthy rags because they do not realize they are wearing rags.

    Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

    Abraham was counted to be righteous because he believed God.

    4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

    If someone thinks that he can earn his way to heaven or keep himself saved by living a holy life based on his own or her own righteous keeping of the Law, then that person will think that God owes him. After all, he/she lived a holy life so that person DESERVES eternal life and is OWED being spared God’s wrath.  Contrast that against someone who only relies on Jesus. Such a person will fall to his face before the Lord knowing full well that the ONLY reason that person is there is cause of Jesus and NOTHING to do with that person. The first person is also likely to say, “Ugh, Lord, why is that sinner here?That person didn’t live a holy life like I did. Ugh.”

    5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

    The one who is righteous is the one who WORKETH NOT but BELIEVES on Him who justifies the ungodly. It is not the one who works and believes on Him who justifies those who are godly.

    Romans 5:Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

    Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

    Remember that our own righteousness is in the keeping of the Law. There are some who go about establishing their own righteousness and therefore do not have the righteousness of God which is through FAITH in Jesus. Some will say, “I do not keep the Law.” Well, if you think to yourself, “I must stop doing such and such.” Then you are trying to keep the Law. How? Simple. Whether one says, “I need to stop stealing paper clips from the office.” to someone saying, “I will obey the Commandment that says thou shalt not steal.” Same thing. You are attempting to obey the Commandments, the Law, attempting to establish your own righteousness, your own holiness instead of relying on His righteousness alone.  You are trying to earn your way to heaven, trying to keep yourself saved. You are WORKING. Turning from sin is nothing more than the pathetic attempt at trying to keep the Law to earn/keep salvation. It is also a work.

    Jonah 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

    The people turning from their evil ways is considered works. “And God saw their WORKS, that they TURNED FROM THEIR EVIL WAY”. (Caps mine for emphasis.) Here again is another verse holiness preachers NEVER mention. Hmm. Wonder why?

    Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

    Christ is the END of the Law for righteousness to ALL who believe. It does not say that Christ is the BEGINNING of the Law but the END, the END to ALL, not just a select few, but to ALL who BELIEVE.

    Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

    Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

    Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

    Jesus tells us to seek His righteousness not our own righteousness. Our own righteousness is of the Law. Therefore, those who are turning from their sins or more accurately trying to obey the Law are seeking after their own righteousness. Those who simply trust in Jesus. Nothing more. Nothing less. Such are those who are seeking after His righteousness. Very few are doing that!

    John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

    Jesus tells the disciples that the Comforter is going to come and shall reprove the world of sin. Later Jesus says,

    9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

    Jesus did not say, Of sin because they do not obey the Law. No, of sin because they BELIEVE NOT ON ME. (Caps mine for emphasis.) Logically then the sin problem is fully dealt with if a person BELIEVES on Jesus. Makes sense because the person is NOT under the Law. So we can conclude that the only sin is to NOT believe in Jesus. Therefore if someone believes on Jesus, that person is justified freely as we have seen.

    Further…

    John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

    If even one believer in Jesus will some day suffer wrath or condemnation, then that would make Jesus a liar. Jesus is not a liar. Someone is lying, but it’s not Jesus.

    Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

    Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    Some seem to miss that “not of yourselves” part.

    • CONSIDER THE WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST…

      He spoke about GREAT TRIBULATION coming upon the Disciples…

      MATTHEW 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

      10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

      11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

      12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

      13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

      14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

      15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

      16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

      17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

      18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

      19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

      20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

      21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

      22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

    • AGAIN CONSIDER THE WORDS AND WARNINGS OF JESUS CHRIST

      Matthew 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

      44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

      45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

      46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

      47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

      48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

      49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

      50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

      51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
