I was talking to someone and as they were talked I heard the Spirit of The LORD say, UNRESOLVED BITTERNESS!

There are so many people who harbor bitterness in their hearts, because of what they have encountered in life, or emotional and mental challenges.  Sometimes as I’m listening to people talk, especially those that walk in positions of leadership, I become concerned for those they cover or mentor.

It’s scary to know that persons full of anger and bitterness are actually trying to lead and counsel people.

To hear them speak with such venom concerning their dissatisfaction with how they feel life has treated them, and to know people are following and listening to them, is so heartbreaking, because you know they will minister and counsel out of their place of bitterness.

There have been times when I have had to tell leaders, that they need to take a time away from their leadership and go into prayer and fasting until they are healed and restored.

The hardest thing I have encountered with leaders, is getting them to realized that they are spiritually and emotionally sick, and that they are doing more harm than good to those whom they lead.

One of the most dangerous things we can have in the Body of Christ are leaders who feel unsatisfied, unfulfilled, been hurt and wounded, pouring out their bitterness and anger through their messages and life.  They will always include their pain in everything they do.

I have found that those leaders who have unresolved bitterness will lash out against those in their ministries whom they see happy and full of life.  They have hidden jealousy and resentment against them, because they feel like they are betraying them, because they should be sorrowful and unhappy with them.

I have learned how not to allow anything or anybody to become more important than God in my life, or my spiritual emotional and mental well being.  It’s not profitable to those I serve, if I serve them from a place of bitterness or anger.

I have sometimes been accused of being cold, because of how I handle situations when people come against me, or walk away from me.  It’s not that I don’t love them or care about them, it’s just that I can’t allow them to become more important than my relationship with God or my ability to remain stable mature and faithful to what I have been purposed to do in this life.

I tell leaders that they must always remember that the people belong to God and He only allows them to be with us, according to His will.  When His will is complete, then He will move them along and we have to let go of them, so that they can continue their process.

As leaders, we must allow ourselves to be healed and made whole when we go through any spiritual and emotional hurt pain abuse.  God doesn’t want us spewing our issues out upon the people.

Leaders, if you are dealing with inner issues, please use wisdom and get healed and whole.

There is somebody of integrity, somebody who can help you with your pain, someone you can truly talk to, who can pray with you and help you get the deliverance and victory you need.

I grieve for those in leadership in this hour, because we don’t have many leaders now who walk in the character of Christ and the integrity of God’s Word, and whom we can trust to help us, without hidden motives.

But there are some.  Just pray and ask God to direct you to them.

I have a private number that a spiritual daughter got for me for ministry that she said God said only give to leaders who need spiritual help, prayer and private deliverance.  I am praying for the leaders in this hour.

I need you and you need me.  I will pray for you as you pray for me.  Let’s decree today that we will stop harming each other and come together and let iron sharpen iron as we grow in God’s grace together!   Much love to you all.
