For those who have unsaved spouses and those whose spouses were once saved, and have walked away from The Lord!

The Lord spoke to me that you can tell people about there sins; but God is a God who will not just tell you about your sins; but He always leaves a door for you to walk through, when correcting you of your sins!  Why?  Because it is not His desire for you to perish but to come out of Egypt!

The Lord spoke this to me this regarding those with unsaved spouse:  God said that He is calling for His people (saved/unsaved spouses) to be like Daniel, he purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor would he drank of there wine, and therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself   (Daniel 1:8).

God spoke to me this afternoon after prayer that He is requiring that you separate yourself from the unclean things and to not touch them!  Just what is unclean? Anything that defiles this temple –  anything that is unclean, saith The Lord!  Even, going to places that are unclean with your unsaved spouse, is wrong!  No, you should not be in the crack house with your spouse; neither should you buy them cigarettes, or alcohol, or should you be indulging with them, for any reason, saith The Lord!  No, not if you are saved!

I heard God saying, know ye not that ye are the temple of god (your body), and that the spirit of god dwelleth in you?  If any man defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.  (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)  Why? Because God cannot dwell in an unclean temple!

God spoke to me that you are to only obey your spouse in the things that are right, but if they are asking you to do anything that will defile your body both naturally and spiritually you are not obligated to obey your spouse in when they are telling you things that are not right in The Lord!

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.  That means you should even be teaching them what is right in the presence of The Lord in this season: training them up in the way they should go!

That means if you live holy and sanctified in the presence of your spouse you just may win him or her to Christ!  What is right in the sight of God?  It is right to clean up your house, it right for you to cook and to perform your wifely duties (as a wife or husband sexually) of the home!  Yes!  It is!  Because, your body is no longer your own, it belongs to each other!  Does that mean you should abuse your spouse sexually?  No, it does not.  The Holy Ghost is gentle and so should you be!

Well, some of you may say well what if he or she still leaves after you have done everything that God has called for you to do?  Well, God say that if the unbelieving depart, let him depart.  A brother or a sister is not under bondage (free) in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.  (1 Corinthians 7:15)  Calling you to peace, means that by all means to make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness, no one will see The Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

God spoke to me that it is not the will of God to destroy marriages and He wants His people (spouses) to do all that is within their power to get along with each others; unless, it is interfering with your life style of holiness!  This is why Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the king’s dainty meats!

God spoke to me that His people do not have to compromise their life styles of holiness, in order to get along with the world!  No!  He says, to come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith The Lord and touch not the unclean thing, and that He will welcome you (2 Corinthians 6:17).

God does want His people to obey whose who have rule over them, when it is right, and to follow others as they follow Christ, and that means submitting yourselves one to another (not just the save wife; but husband as well if he is saved) in the fear of God!  (Ephesians 5:21)

However, The Lord showed me that there is a great deception in the church among the saints!  You see, for some have started on this path of holiness and they have begun to walk in sin, leaving there spouse to be alone, wondering, should I still obey my husband and he is a hypocrite playing church?  The Lord showed me that this obedience is conditional and depends upon each of your relationships with Christ.

The Lord showed me that we are to stand fast, therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.  So, if that person is causing your flesh to sin?  No, you are not obligated to follow them!  But if what he or she is asking you is in line with both the word and the spirit of God!  Yes, you should!  Apostle Paul said that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing, and that he testified again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.  He said that Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace  (Galatians 5:1-4).

God said to me that there are so many in the church whose spouse started out saved; but now they have begun to walk in deception!  Some are ashamed and don’t want others to know that their spouse has fallen from grace, but God spoke to me.  The way back is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ!

I heard God saying that many folks think that they are missing something because they are living a separate life than the world, but that is not so!  Daniel said, prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink (God’s people), and then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat (the world): and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.  So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.  And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared (God’s children) fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat!  (Daniel 1: 12-15)

You see, you may not do things like the world and God may have called you and separated you to be holy a vessel for His good use, but you will be just as beautiful and vibrant as those who are doing the things that are in the world; and even more so because the meat God has for you His elect will bring life and good health: a healthy marriage and relationship in Christ saith The Lord!

I hear God saying that thou shalt worship no other God: for The Lord, whose name is jealous, is a jealous god: lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants (world/ ungodly spouse) of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; (Exodus 34:14-15).
