Don’t You Know Christmas Is About A Demon? — 44 Comments

  1. Mary’s boy child, Jesus Christ WAS NOT born on Christmas day. And for that reason only, I don’t celebrate Christmas. I celebrate my birthday on the day I was born. The world determined a birth date for Jesus. Thank you so much for posting this message. Ask Holy Spirit yourself if this day ( Christmas) , is from God. He will tell you the truth

  2. You are right. I have not observed this pagan day or eastter for about 30 years. It’s the worship of the sun-god Tammuz. I used to be catholic. When I came out of the catholic church, I searched the bible for everything I was taught as a catholic. And x-mas and easter were two of those things. It has always baffled me how many of God’s ministers and prophets not only celebrate these pagan days, but they actually “teach” and preach and twist scripture to support this day. I even heard one prophet say the God spoke to his prophet wife and said “Merry Christmas” to her. The word “Merry Christmas” means “Happy or Joyful” dismissing of Christ”. The word “Mass” means to Dismiss or Let go or reject”. So, when people say Merry Christmas, they are saying, “Happy rejection of Christ” or “happy dismissing of Christ”.  Anyway, this understanding about these pagan days only comes from revelation from God to those who really want to know the truth about it. And you are right, satan made these days sooooooooo enjoyable with family and friends, that Christians don’t want to give it up. They rather make void the word of God than to give up their traditions they learned as children.

    • Words have no intrinsic meaning, but merely signify things.  What they signify tends to change over time and from place to place.  Thus, in older English of the King James translation the word “suffer” meant “allow”, as when, “Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” [Matthew 19:14]

The same word can also signify different things. Thus, the word “dismissal” can mean both a sending away and a rejection.  I have just found that the word “mass” came into existence because at the end of the service the priest would send the people away by saying “missa”, and this became known by the people as the word for the service, probably because they did not know Latin.  Thus, I think the word “Christmas” was just one for another kind of mass or service or mass, and did not in itself signify a rejection of Christ.  However, the practice of the mass indeed does: a “priestly” and repeated “sacrifice”, as it is also called, is indeed a rejection of Christ, as the only High Priest, and a denial of His “once for all” sacrifice.

  3. I love that Christmas is a time for unselfish thinking, not “how can I be blessed,” but instead, “how can I bless others.” :)
I’m not too concerned about my bank account really, I don’t just bless people at Christmas but it’s become a habit which has taken hold of me all year long.
I love how close Christmas brings me to my family, who’ve been so scattered.
God bless You, and thank you for the courage to share what He’s doing in your life. May you be filled to Overflowing in the Abundant Fullness of All the Life you are in His Beautiful Image. :)

  4. Because Christmas combines many traditions from different places, and because its celebration has been so widespread, I suspect that its origins may have had more to do with the celebration of the winter equinox.  This represents “death” in the pagan cycle of agriculture; and the tradition of the Christmas holly wreath, I believe, signifies death in the way of a funeral wreath, and dangerously invites the spirit of death at least by association. [I think this is something to pray about at this time.] I think the origins of Christmas may lie more in Baal worship, because this was a religion of agriculture, although its present timing comes after the winter equinox.

  5. For consideration – Deuteronomy 12v29-31: When The Lord thy God shall cut off the nation’s before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwell in their land; TAKE HEED TO THYSELF THAT THOU BE NOT SNARED BY FOLLOWING THEM, after they be destroyed from before thee; AND THAT THOU INQUIRE NOT AFTER THEIR GODS, saying, HOW DID THESE NATIONS SERVE THEIR GODS? Even so will I do likewise. THOU SHALT NOT DO SO UNTO THE LORD THY GOD; for every abomination to The Lord, which He hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. End quote. Verse 32- What thing soever I command you, observe to do it; thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
( This child sacrifice is re- enacted by having our children sit on Santa’s knee for the son’s and daughters of old were sacrificed on the lap of Moloch and burnt there ).

It was the communion of the bread and wine that we are asked to remember.

  6. I am very ambivalent about Christmas, avoiding all the pagan trappings, yet regarding it as a calendar time fixed for families to come together. I also feel there is something false-religious when people aspire to “the season of good-will”, and think they are thereby setting themselves up for disappointment.

However, the 25th December, like all days, was created by the Lord, who also created the spiritual beings that subsequently fell to become demons, who then presumptuously tried to claim the creation as their own.  Perhaps, a good start would be to sing “This is the day the Lord has made” particularly on this day.

    • Hello Mark {:-)

I was talking to a brother just earlier today about your HOLY SPIRIT-led comments on HKP (those that I have personally seen and read).

But this one is under par – in Truth, wrong. You cannot be ambivalent about what is a lie – a centuries-old deception.

We must only be for The Truth, and stand against the lie.

What fellowship has Light with darkness?

Man shall ONLY live by what proceeds from The Mouth of GOD.

If GOD has not said it, we don’t do it. As children of GOD, we only do The Word of GOD.

I quote the introductory statement of Calvin’s comment (below): “We cannot take what is defiled and make it holy.”

THE LORD bless you, Mark. {:-)

      SHALOM!
      Jacob

      • Jacob, I agree with your reply, so cannot have adequately conveyed what I meant to say myself.  A day visiting my (unsaved) family on the 25th would just be a matter of having more elaborate food but with no tree and no decorations, etc. Should I forgo this possibility, because history – much of which is uncertain and speculative – suggests that earlier pagans chose to worship an impostor on the same day?  Another question is that instead of receiving a visit should an elderly relative with a different understanding and expectations be left alone on Christmas day?

I think before we reach firm conclusions, we should consider the importance of personal conscience in the New Testament, as in Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians 8.  He surprisingly says that a believer may eat food sacrificed to an idol and even do so in the temple dedicated to the idol, but with two provisos.  One is that the believer understands that these idols are nothing, and that only the living God is to be worshipped.  The second is the believer does not cause others to stumble who do not share this understanding.

I cannot see that spending time on the 25th with people who have never even heard of Mithras is worse than being in an actual pagan temple with people who not only have heard of its idol – say, Mithras – but also worship Mithras.

        Blessings on Christ, Mark

        • Mark, I understand what you mean.

However, THE LORD is The Creator of the human heart. If one really desires to do His Will rather than be concerned about displeasing man, He will touch the heart and convey the necessary understanding.

Christmas day family gathering itself has become idolatry. People cannot do without it.

Why does 25 Dec alone have such a compelling influence all over the world?

          Demonic power! (Revelation 12:9).

As Paul said, all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Of all the days in the year, why is 25 Dec family gathering made so indispensable?

Tradition. As JESUS told the Jews, “Thus, you have made The Commandment of GOD of no effect by your traditions.” (Matthew 15:6).

Anything made indispensable other than THE LORD Himself, is idolatry.

THE LORD can make the gran understand if one asks Him to – about visiting some other day.

As Proverbs 3:5 – 6 says, “Trust in THE LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

          Traditional expectations can be bondage.

“Standfast therefore in The Liberty by Which CHRIST has made us free. Do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1.

Mark, there are not many SINCERE brethren in The Body these days.

It is always refreshing to find that you are one. {:-)

          SHALOM!
          Jacob

  7. We have freedom in Christ to celebrate Jesus’ birth on Christmas.

    Colossians 2:16-23
    King James Version

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

    • Amen. I celebrate Jesus on every day of the year…. including December the 25th !!! He is the Alpha and the Omega, the entire spectrum of existence.. my whole life, the whole calendar, belongs to Jesus! People wanna be picky about the very “out-of-box” Eternal bGOD… so be it!

  8. Amen!!! We can not take what is defiled and make it holy.

    Haggai 2:10-14

10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 11 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Now, ask the priests concerning the law, saying, 12 “If one carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with the edge he touches bread or stew, wine or oil, or any food, will it become holy?” ’ ”

Then the priests answered and said, “No.”

13 And Haggai said, “If one who is unclean because of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?”

So the priests answered and said, “It shall be unclean.”

14 Then Haggai answered and said, “ ‘So is this people, and so is this nation before Me,’ says the Lord, ‘and so is every work of their hands; and what they offer there is unclean.

  9. You have struck a nerve..

My updated calendar will celebrate CHRIST on Hanukkah because he is “the light of the world” and visited the temple on Feast of Dedication aka Hanukkah. Also, menorah was lit and increasing Each light for 8 day’s signifying circumcision on 8TH day also signifying circumcision of the Heart ❤️

Hanukkah may also be a sign of the Immaculate Conception of Jesus not Mary as the Catholic Church teaches.  His “conception” being light confirms His life began at conception not at birth.

January 6th (Epiphany) will be the Gifts of the Magi to Christ-like children – not for adults as no adult received anything only Christ child

    What a relief from bondage!

  10. Hallelujah. Oh, indeed that many more eyes would be open to see this great deception and bondage. This truth was revealed to me early in my Christian walk – over 25 years ago. It’s not easy to stand against the crowd, but it is such a release from the dictates of the Canaanites i.e. the merchants who control by telling the masses what to buy, when to buy etc. He whom the Son makes free is free indeed! Hallelujah. And yes, the empowerment of demonic spirits by this celebration is not to be considered a light thing. Let the eyes be opened! Let the blind eyes see! Let the Love of God flow and set mankind free.
