Several people have questioned me about the famine and drought that I spoke of coming to the farmlands.  People have asked, “How is that when we are flooding?”  Here is the answer…

If you understand farming, then you know that any extreme weather will harm crops and lessen a harvest.  Flooding removes the top soil which carries the minerals and nutrients that crops need to flourish.

The drought and famine that I spoke of, is over the next year and a half.  I also said we would see these things begin in the summer.  Well, it’s not summer yet, and 18 months have not gone by.  In addition, if the ground is over saturated, the top soil is removed, and then it dries out, well there goes your harvest!  No harvest means food shortage, which means prices go up, and thus, you have your famine.  The Southwest and Midwest states have experienced tornadoes, hail and flooding in the last month and a half; all of which will destroy farmland.

In totality, we should look at the entire prophetic message that is being given, and not try to knit-pick at details, to find flaws.  The message is that the shaking is coming, and it cannot be stopped.  So the only escape is to be solid in The One who is unshakable.

Test the spirit with the Holy Spirit to see if what is being spoken is coming from the Lord.  Ask yourself if it confirms in your spirit.  But if you’re testing the man (or woman, in this case), with the spirit, then you will always find flaws, because mankind is flawed.

More importantly, if your spirit does not confirm that what is being spoken is from the Lord, then it is your duty to seek the truth for yourself.  Don’t waste your time trying to argue with what you know is not from God.  Remember: don’t follow the person, and don’t follow the prophecy; neither will get you into heaven.  Follow Jesus.
