Finding New Fruit in Your Family Tree — 3 Comments

  1. When I see a word of encouragement for God’s people I rejoice. So I rejoice in this post! The world is so dark and harsh. A kind word,or confirmation that The Lord is working out our obstacles behind the scenes with testimonies to those of us who are struggling, is a part of loving one another in Christ Jesus. So whenever I see these types of posts, I rejoice in them, because I know how it feels to be put down, and discouraged daily. I also know how much it means to know the Spirit of the Living God speaks these words through you and prophets who share the Good News because He knows how much I need reassurance that He is there when the storm comes. I give thanks for you and other prophets that speak with the heart of a God in mind, who truly loves his inheritance, His people. I get discouraged when I hear the church beating its own body, with harsh words when life is tough enough, and places tough criteria on man that no human could perfectly fulfil.

The Lord Jesus said to the religious people of his day: “They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden. (‭Matthew‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬ NLT)

I wonder if we listen to our master and Lord when we terrorize His people with “prophetic” words intended to intimidate and cause them fear. Or demand from them what Christ has already freely provided, righteousness. Please join me church family in praying for one another and lifting up the Good News! That Christ has risen, that He has set us free from sin, fulfilled the law and given those who trust in him His righteousness, His love, His person, and allowed us to be adopted as sons and daughters in the body of Christ. We are free to love each other without limit by pointing one another to a risen Savior that forgives freely and Restores! He has given us an immeasurably fantastic future, through his wonderful grace or unmerited favor! You can’t earn God’s favor. But you don’t have to, if you just believe Him! Let us rejoice in Our King and His mighty work on the cross! Praise our King Jesus! His name is above every name. The Lord of All! Amen!

    • Thank-you, Leaunna, for proclaiming Christ! Thanks also for Matt 23. I have been trying to articulate the condemnation and judging I have received from the brethren at times as I have made mistakes while learning how to walk in the Spirit. And Holy Spirit has revealed times when I also have been judgmental of those judging… No man can argue with God’s Word. I received the most beautiful revelation reading Matt 23 in your comment. Keep proclaiming Christ to your last earthly breath and beyond!

  2. Deuteronomy 29:29 (NKJV)
“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

    Psalm 25:14 (NKJV)
The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
