By erroneous thinking, we sometimes tend to limit the power and ability of an ALL-MIGHTY God, His Omnipotence, His Omniscience, His Omnipresence.
Single & Searching?
I wanna pray for those of us here who are single and searching!
Absolutely nothing wrong in wanting to be loved and “belong” to that right one. It’s an innate/ inborn/ natural characteristic given you by your Heavenly Father, because He knew man could not function ALONE!!!
You’re not in an emotionally deficient state, weak, neither are you desperate and dysfunctional…
For just as clothes and shelter provide necessary protection against the elements, and food nourishes the body, so does love and intimacy guards against some psychological trauma, and creates emotional balance and stability.
My prayer is that the hand of the Most High will bring soul mates together, not only for sexual gratification, but for companionship and partnership.
There is a power that is unleashed when two come together and agree… They accomplish greatness in the earth!

God Has Greater in Store!
In our seasons of transitioning, growth and preparation, sometimes God will place us in temporary positions, with temporary people and make temporary provisions.
We could look at an example of Elijah and the Brook of Cherith, even en route to Zarepath (1 Kings 17).
There was a much greater assignment ahead, yet there we see Elijah at what seemed to be temporary holding places where he would obtain provisions for the next leg of the journey; they never came to last.
The Moral: God has greater in store.
Your present situation may not be your final destination. Even the people at this level, many are there just to fulfill some needs, then after such a need or needs are met, they too will have to leave you for no reason, because their assignment has been completed.
Never build permanent structures on temporary foundations when God’s will is to give you something lasting.
Let us therefore pray for the counsel of God, the wisdom of His Spirit, knowledge and understanding of His plans and purposes for the people in our lives and the places we are at the current stage of our lives.

Thank you Syreeta. So brave to address our need for life partners as NORMAL and within God’s will. Many are losing strength in the waiting (I am 47 and never married) and feel weak for desiring a companion. May God bless bless and bless all who’ve followed Him wholeheartedly in the wait, and blow us away with marital love as spring starts to bud (in South Africa).
