You are tied to somebody else’s destiny and maybe causing their blessings to be held up because you are out of god’s perfect will!

The only way back is through true repentance!

Aaron learned he had to go back to the one he hurt before he and Miriam could move on to the promised land!

Miriam was a prophetess of God and God dealt with her harshly because she was unrepentant of her sin; unlike Aaron.

You see, Aaron recognized quickly he had sinned against Moses and repented.

“When the Cloud moved off from the Tent, oh! Miriam had turned leprous, her skin like snow.  So, Aaron took one look at Miriam-a leper!

He said to Moses, “Please, my master, please don’t come down so hard on us for this foolish and thoughtless sin.  Please don’t make her like a stillborn baby coming out of its mother’s womb with half its body decomposed.”  (Numbers 12:10-12 MSG)

However, God used Miriam as an example as to not touch HIS anointed vessel of God!

I believe when Aaron saw that cloud that was placed to lead them both day and night he knew what time it was and repented and became terrified when he looked on her countenance and saw her face as one dead from the womb!

GOD answered Moses, “If her father had spat in her face, wouldn’t she be ostracized for seven days?  It is a dangerous thing to be tooth faced and a trouble maker!

This caused a separation because of sin in the camp and relationships and caused God’s wrath to come upon those who failed to align themselves in the camp!

So, God said “Quarantine her outside the camp for seven days.  Then she can be readmitted to the camp.” So Miriam was in quarantine outside the camp for seven days.

Notice:   The people didn’t march on until she was readmitted.  Only then did the people march from Hazeroth and set up camp in the Wilderness of Paran,” (Numbers 12:14-16 MSG).

You are tied to somebody else’s destiny whether you know it or not, and every time one of God’s people sin it causes a black eye on the entire body!

Instead of Miriam and Aaron praying for Moses and his family they criticized and found fought and it caused God’s anger to boil!

One thing I have learned over the years is that it is not my business what people think of me, but it’s my business what God and I think about me!  Let people talk and criticize.

God will always avenge His elect and watch them loose their place in God as Miriam did!
