Have We Learned to Love Yet? (Updated) — 16 Comments

  1. In my lifetime, I have never experienced such a lack of love demonstrated in the world as we are seeing today.

As I was pondering this, and just focusing on God’s Unconditional Love, The LORD spoke into my silence, “The spirit of criticism and slander have arisen to destroy the purity of My Love, but I AM sending the Fire of My Love to burn up all the effects of the pointing of the finger in The Body of Christ.

In this season, I AM purging and purifying hearts to first love themselves and what I created them to be.

Then — and only then — will they come to the knowledge of The Truth of Who they are and understand their true identity!

    That is soo true!…

I would add that true love is coupled with the truth too which is sometimes hard to accept. But the spirit tone behind a correction makes the difference…

    • Absoolutely true, Dorothea, true love coupled with the truth is sometimes hard to accept. Love is such a deep subject and it seems everyone has a different viewpoint that has been deeply colored by their personal experiences. In this day, we must hold fast to 1 Corinthians 13. I love this line in TPT..So above all else, “let love be the beautiful prize for which you run”. May God richly bless you and keep you as we celebrate His love as our Saviour this Christmas season, Sandi

  2. So well said, Sandi.

We simply cannot judge according to Jesus the actions and not the child of God (lost or redeemed) unless we are abiding in a deep sense of unconditional Love in Him over us.

This generation so desperately needs a revelation of His uncondtionla Love.. and how it is THAT reality that transforms us.

This was a great encouragement to me. I small fellowship was in praise and thanksgiving over a healing we are exercising on behalf of my brother, and the invitation last night from the Throne was to accept His Love.. the access point to all the kingdom.

I need to read all this and soak in it. Thank you.

    • So grateful for you input, David. I just read your response to my email. Thanks so much. I love what you shared “We simply cannot judge according to Jesus the actions and not the child of God (lost or redeemed) unless we are abiding in a deep sense of unconditional Love in Him over us.” Now that is a mouthful! Truly the UNLESS is the bottom line “abide in a deep sense of unconditional Love in Him over us”. Abide is so key, is it not? May we let that one truth be written on our hearts. Have a beautiful celebration of our Saviour and press into the new year with great hope and promise for prosperity and blessings to flow! Sandi

  3. Thanks so much for a much needed word. It addresses for all of us the vital spiritual understanding of what is required for each of us: the Love of God!!! And that only comes when we want to please HIM, and do what He tells us to do. Paul said “I die daily.” To follow Jesus, we each bear a cross, to die to our own will and live to serve Him. Jesus said, “Without Me, you can do nothing.”

    • Mr Holman, I thought I answered your comment but not seeing it. So I die daily pretty much sums it up, right? May we walk in His love daily. May we know that we know that we know, without HIM we can do nothing. Love and prayers to you..my husband! Sandi

  4. I personally think we are about to experience a true test for the church in America. The one true God will send something truly hard to love. To test the love meter of each and everyone. The test is did God send it or can I just say it is the devil so I don’t have to love it. Sounds like great fun for all. I know for a fact most will fail the test. With they just don’t believe the right things must be the devil. Remember the children of Israel crucified Jesus because they thought he was a fake. Testing time is right at the door. How will you do? The fate of the church in America and the fate of the country hangs in the balance. Some will fail simply because they will not want to be friends with certain people. Remember Gods desire is to save all men even the bad ones. Do you love me now?

    • Absolutely, David, absolutely I agree the test is here for the church in AMerica. THank you for your challenging input that spelled the test of all time out so beautifully. Yes, I still love you. His love is us must graduate to unconditional or we will fail the exam and the test. God bless you richly as we celebrate the one who is LOVE. Sandi

    • Great to see you Roopa. You are so welcome. May the power of His love arise in all of us in these days of tests and trials and may we being willing to demonstrate HIS love that conquers all to the very end! Happy and Merry Christmas to you and yours! Sandi

  5. Sandi, this is most beautiful all way through!
This captured my attention:”A little child doesn’t start out with walls or barriers around their heart. They learn to construct them and develop a barrier of protection that becomes a restriction and many times goes on to be a concrete heart that has been layered with hardness over time.”

May as we learn to trust the Father
with our hearts, allow Him to bring out the inner child within us all. I love you. Hugs & prayers ❤️

    • After all these years with the Lord, Joyce, I believe learning to love as He loves is a lifelong ongoing process. I know that many would debate that but I keep hearing Bob Jones talk about that when I was at Morningstar..the depth of His love is endless. Thanks much for your input my friend. xoxo Sandi

  6. Such a good and timely word Sis.
Bless you and may God continue to fill you with overflow. Love you. Shared .
