Your Alabaster Box
“Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, there came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head.” Matthew 26:7.
She broke the alabaster box of perfume and poured it upon Jesus.
It was indeed a very expensive perfume, but she gave her most costly possession to Him. She did not hold it back!
She made a complete sacrifice and broke the box and the fragrant perfume poured out. She gave to Jesus all she had!
She made that ultimate surrender as she poured all she had upon Him, as she sat at the Master’s feet and adored Him.
She heard His Words and wiped His Feet with her hair. What love and devotion she showered upon Him at that life changing moment for her!
Even when the disciples who walked with Jesus daily criticized her, it did not stop her for she needed to touch her King!
Many times in our lives we have boxes we must break.
Just as Mary broke the alabaster box so that every drop anointed the precious Saviour, let us break our lives upon the altar so that He might extract the very last drop of glory from us.
That is the price of surrender!
Let your life be broken and poured out upon him! He will pour out his glory upon you and in that moment you will feel the breath of Heaven upon you and the sweet fragrance of our Saviour will fill the room right where you are.
Don’t hold anything back, but let your love be poured out upon Him.
Bring him the very best that you have and surrender it unto Him. Trouble may arise, tongues may slander you, the storms may stir, but let nothing rob you of this Pearl of Great Price.
Pour out your prayers, your love, and tears on the feet of Jesus!
Let His Words float into your ears, sink down into your soul, and it will heal you. That river of crystal love will flow into your panting spirit simply by listening to the ripple of its flow.
Broken and poured out, but will arise strong and victorious covered in the sweet fragrance of Christ, drenched in the river of life, transformed by the Breath of Heaven and touched by the Master’s hand

“But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers,” 1 Kings 19:4.
Now we come to a defeated Elijah sitting under a Juniper tree!
Having a Pity Party……!
Yes he is in the rushing waters of turmoil. He is being flooded with anguish and anxiety. He is suffering from prophetic burnout and feels spiritually alone. He is in a storm and not even sure how he got to this point.
Elijah is now asking the question.. “How did I get here, as it was not supposed to happen this way?”
You may be riding high today but in every life there will come a time for you to be on WILDERNESS DUTY! The Bible says it rains on the just and the unjust.
Perhaps you are saying much like Elijah is at this point,
“It Is Enough! I am tired of struggling with the Ahab’s and Jezebels of this world.
I am weary from the spiritual attacks of the enemy.
I don’t have what it takes to struggle with the forces of unrighteousness and I am tired of everything not going right for me.”
And here you are sitting under that Juniper Tree like Elijah wanting to die.
How long are you going to sit?
How long are you going to hide from the Ahabs and Jezebels of the world?
How long are you going to refuse to sing and shout the name of The LORD even in places you don’t want to?
How long is the armor going to hang in your closet unworn?
It is time to get up cause you are going through this wilderness!
Trouble will follow you wherever you go. The hell you run from over here will meet you over there!
God has given you an assignment and it is time to get up for you have sat under your juniper tree long enough. He has placed within you the courage to arise and go!
Put on your armor and march forward for there is nothing behind you worth turning back to. Your future and destiny in God lies ahead of you.
You have to leave your troubles and your burdens with him and not sit down and give up. It is time to march into the enemy’s camp and take back what belongs to you!
The devil has stole from you long enough. God is not calling us to sit, but TO STAND! You didn’t come to this wilderness to stay, but you are coming out!

I’ve been having a pity party for some time now wondering when is my financial breakthrough going to come and when will my relationship go good I’ve been praying for years seems still no change haven’t given up on God guess I’ve given up on myself and accepted that this is all my life consist of indebtedness and pain
