“For Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own native-place”   John 4:44 NKJV. 

Who has time or the energy to run all over the country behind these celebrity preachers when you have preachers right among you?  They may not have well known names, but they have an anointing which creates miracles and wonders!

Why are you paying thousands of dollars to bring in people because of their names, when you have people right in your own congregation or town whom God has anointed and has given revelation, knowledge and the authority to change the atmosphere?

We’re looking to bring in the mighty dollar personalities instead of the “I’m on assignment by God to bring the word of Salvation and Deliverance to set the captive free” preachers of the Gospel.

We name drop big names to people, thinking that it makes us look important.  Nothing is impressive to me but a vessel who is living what they preach:  winning souls to the kingdom;  standing for holiness;  walking in righteousness;  giving out love to everybody;  and helping those who are downtrodden in life.

We’re running to conferences, paying big money and sowing seeds into entertainment and gospel celebrities.

But we won’t give a dime to help a person with a vision minister to those who are bound by drugs and alcohol, or those who’ve been raped or molested and going through abuse of all kinds, or those having mental problems, or feeding the hungry, or clothing the naked, or visiting those in the prisons, or providing for widows or orphans.

We’re just so caught up in Gospel Hollywood, all we want is to be connected to someone who makes us seem prosperous and whom we think, are great and grand in the Body of Believers.

God is not calling us to be star struck, behind what we may call, brand-name preachers!

We’re supposed to be following The Lord!!!  Where He is at, that’s where you need to be!!  Let God lead you as to where you need to go,  whom you need to connect to and where you need to sow!!

I know I lose friends because I don’t get excited, or drop what I’m doing, to go where they go, just because they drop names of those whom they consider big and important people.  I go where the Glory is at, where the presence of The Lord is and where the Will of God is allowed to flow, so there are miracles, signs and wonders taking place.

I just do not want to hear entertainment, or sit through two hour offerings.  I’m looking for The Lord, as I want to know that I won’t be the same after I leave the place!!!
