“For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of Power,” (dynamis – dynamite – Spiritual explosives), 1 Corinthians 4:20.
What it does not say is that “the Kingdom of God is a matter of entertainment, a matter of seeker friendliness, a matter of compromise, a matter of watering down the Gospel, a matter of overlooking sin”.
A watered down Gospel produces watered down religion, a weak Gospel presented, produces weak followers.
The Word of God should be thundering in our hearts and there should be a sweet Aroma of His Presence to bring the deep and gentle conviction of rending our hearts before Him.
The Kingdom is in POWER!
It is a demonstration of His Life being birthed into the lives of mere mortals.
It should produce none less than His Power being put on display through us as having being changed from a mere natural and weak state of existence, into new dimensions of Glory, as the fruit of His Life is being exhibited in us as supernatural people filled with Heaven’s Fragrance and Atmosphere!
It IS Able to Save Your Soul!
“Therefore, ridding yourselves of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent, humbly receive the implanted word, WHICH IS ABLE TO SAVE YOUR SOULS,” James 1:21.
“WHICH IS ABLE TO SAVE YOUR SOULS” – or that “HAS THE POWER to save your souls.”
These words rang in my spirit this morning as the Holy Spirit pointed them out and asked the question – “Is that which is preached today still the pure and undiluted Word of God that has the power to save men’s souls?”
Are we still preaching a Gospel that IS the Power of God unto salvation?
Does that which we are planting in the lives of others as seed to grow contain the Life of God that will cause them to bear the fruit of living lives worthy of salvation?
