Kenya: “I have not found a man,”  says The LORD.

As we intercede in tears for our beloved nation, The LORD keeps saying these words to me, “I have not found a man,”  (Ezekiel 22:30), and this has left me pondering deeply why He would say so.

Why?  Because I believe that many of His People are in repentance and so they should be a man (that’s my wrong thinking).

Why is there no man?  Because we are busy pointing fingers to others and not ourselves.

Because we are busy bowing to our own idols (ministries, assignments, businesses) and have no time to hear His Heart.

We actually believe we are walking right with Him, because of how faithfully serve Him in His sanctuary, but this is where we have lied to ourselves.

Our service means nothing to Him if our hearts are far from Him, because that service could be the idol He wants you to repent about.

Imagine if you are busy serving to the extent you cannot hear God’s concerns about your life and service?

This is not the time to point fingers to others saying they ought to repent, please point it to yourself first.

The LORD is saying that too many of His people have IMPURE Hearts.

He’s been speaking to me about all of us and our greatest problem which is failure to reflect on the real state of our hearts:  ‘Me versus Me’ and not ‘Me versus You’.

The man God is looking for is described in Psalm 24:3-4;

“Who may ascend the mountain of The LORD?

Who may stand in his holy place?

The one who has CLEAN HANDS and a PURE HEART, who DOES NOT TRUST IN AN IDOL or SWEAR BY A FALSE god.”

Take time, check yourself out with the help of The Holy Spirit and turn around.
