Let Freedom Ring
Thank God for the United States of America land that I love.
I am thankful for this God-given land and the freedoms we all hold dear. I am thankful for it and worship and praise God for it.
I wrote this article to clear up some misunderstandings among The Body of Christ concerning the American flag.

Worship :- The feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.
Deity :- A god or goddess (in a polytheistic religion).
Bow :- To bend; to curve; to be inflected; to bend, in token of reverence, respect or civility; often with down.
Shachah :- A Hebrew word for “bow down”. Strong’s #H7812 : shachah (pronounced shaw-khaw’) a primitive root; to depress, i.e. prostrate (especially reflexive, in homage to royalty or God):–bow (self) down, crouch, fall down (flat), humbly beseech, do (make) obeisance, do reverence, make to stoop, worship.
I want to address this issue that seems to be debated among many Christians today in reference to the American flag and “IF” or “IF NOT” bowing down to it “IS” or “IS NOT” a form of idol worship.
So I have looked up each word for you so that you may see for yourself that the Hebrew word for ‘bow down‘ is Scachah, and that to bow down means to bend to show reverence or respect to.
So then, according to the accurate definitions to these words, bowing down is a form of showing respect and honor.
Therefore, when people bow down to the flag, it is not a form or worshiping a deity as a god, because the flag is not a deity or a image/ statue of a god, it is only a cloth/ symbol our God-given freedoms in this land, and when one bows to that they are showing respect and honor to what that flag represents, which is our God given freedoms of this land which he gave us for inheritance.
It is he God Himself who made man and placed them upon this earth. It is he who told us to be fruitful and multiply upon it, to replenish it, and subdue it which means to conquer and bring under subjection. (To God and His Ways).
“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13.
Therefore it is concluded that bowing to the flag is not worshiping a deity or false god, therefore it is NOT IDOL WORSHIP.
It is showing respect and honor to that which it represents to God’s People and the Land he gave us and the freedoms he gave us to inherit.
I pray this clears up some issues for those who may need it.

It is a very sad day indeed when there is a necessity for an article like this. The flag is a symbol of identity for any country. Pledging allegiance to one’s country is not worshipping it but making a commitment to it. The flag can be equated to a wedding ring, it is a symbol the wearer identifies as committed to someone. kissing one’s ring is a sign they cherise the person they are committed to not that they worship them. The demonic spell is so deep when a people despise their heritage. God save the United States of America.
I understand the spirit in which this was written however, an idol does not have to ONLY be a statue or deity/image of a deity. An idol can be anything that comes before God in your heart. We can idolize our children, our spouses, homes, celebrities,etc. If that symbol becomes something that we give the kind of homage that should only be reserved for God, that’s idol worship. We should absolutely feel privileged to live in this country, but our flag is a symbol that many people (brothers & sisters in Christ included) worship and for that, we should be repenting. Nothing comes before God, including our flag.
