There Is Light at the End of the Tunnel — 3 Comments

  1. Thank you for a well needed message. I can’t help but think about the eleventh hour you mentioned. What does it mean don’t give up or compromise in the eleventh hour?

    God bless

    • I find myself in a very uncomfortable place the past four months – a lot of turmoil that seems neverending – and have consequently lost vision/sight of where I’m going, unable to discern between God’s hand and my own, struggling to endure in this dark place (tunnel).
The eleventh hour tells me ‘it’s late in the game’.  We should’ve completed this painful process (transition) by now.
This feeling of ‘I can’t go on like this…no strength to go any further’ presents us with the temptation to seek a way out – an emergency exit – which could take us down the wrong path and delay arrival at our God appointed destination – the banquet table that awaits at the end of the tunnel.
So…advice to myself based on Elaine’s words: it’s hard but keep walking straight ahead. Stay the course even though it’s late in the game and the promise is overdue. The eleventh hour.
I hope that makes sense and answers your question! The feast that awaits us will be worth the pain in the tunnel. Xxx
