A compilation of four Words on Apostles and Prophets:
*FREEDOM! by Karen Varey; **RELATIONSHIP!, **ACTION! and **PROTOCOL! by Jo Ellen Stevens.
We have been tethered and restrained in so many ways for ways too long! Papa is calling FREEDOM!!!!!!
Run to Me with reckless abandon! I will help you jump those hurtles! I will help you heal and deal with the battlefield of your mind! I have positioned you for such a time as this! You will not run this race alone for I am with you to make sure you cross the finish line! I will also position those in your life to come alongside you. Some as Prophet’s, some apostles, some evangelist, some teachers! You are all to come together under Me for I AM your Father and I love you! I long to see my children run free like a new colt who has just learned to stand, but instead chooses to RRRRRRUN!!!!!! I am waiting for you with open arms! Run to me my children and we will finish the good race, for it is in your destiny, that I chose for you from the day you were born. I Love You!
If you are on board with an Apostle or Prophet, you just might want to be dropped off at the nearest island until they finish doing what God told them to do… Just sayin’! If you are in their life it is for a purpose though! And one thing is for sure… You are not going to get bored! In the words of Steven Curtis Chapman… “This is the great adventure!” Saddle Up Your Horses . . We’ve got a trail to blaze!!!
“Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses. In the presence of God, Who preserves alive all living things, and of Christ Jesus, Who in His testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I [solemnly] charge you…” 1 Timothy 6 12-13 (AMP). “Therefore then, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 (AMP).
As Apostles, prophets and prophetic people we must realize that our life is an illustrated sermon to others. The good, the bad, and the ugly! The thing of it is if you ever said “Yes, God be glorified in me!,” He takes you at your word and at times there are hard lessons to be learned…. Think about Jonah.. even His disobedience became a lesson to us to this day. God will waste nothing in our life if we ever said yes to Him… These titles are not something to be attained to but something that we must live…
“For it seems to me that God has made an exhibit of us apostles, exposing us to view last [of all, like men in a triumphal procession who are] sentenced to death [and displayed at the end of the line]. For we have become a spectacle to the world [a show in the world’s amphitheater] with both men and angels [as spectators]” 1 Corinthians 4:9 (AMP).
Do it God’s way and you will know that His word works! You are the living example of His existence as you swim against the tide of the ways of the world and prove that God’s word is truth in you.. This is why your testimony defeats the devil!! The world is awaiting the manifest Sons of God to arise and be the word made flesh to them! Arise and shine!!
“Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]” Romans 12:2.
