As the snow melts it reveals forgotten remnants of the past.
Scarves, a lonely glove, etc. Things that were once valued are just plain ole rubbish now
So is with remnants of our past.
Spring is near but it is imperative that we let go of those things that were not meant for our good. The LORD has removed certain obstacles; hindrances to His plan for our lives.
That removal may have been through failed relationships, old mindsets/ habits, or even failed businesses or missed opportunities.
In times of loneliness or lost hope the temptation is to walk down memory lane and revisit these unfruitful situations and forget His goodness.
God wants to turn everything around for our blessing but the need to trust Him must be greater than the need to comfort ourselves.
The LORD Our God wants to forge new paths; close old doors and open new doors of influence and blessing.
What He has for His children can not be stolen or taken away. He sees us and hears our prayers. He is good.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Resist the temptation to pick up things that were meant to stay behind be that old relationships, mindsets, past regrets or worries,” Romans 8:28.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight,” Proverbs 3:5-6.
