A serious Prophetic Warning concerning the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland — a strange dream, “The Hare and the Tortoise”!
I wanted to share a Prophetic Dream I had a few days ago, that I found very interesting and have spent sometime praying over.
As I sought The LORD concerning this strange dream, I have been praying fervently for the leaders who are currently running the race to become the Prime Minister of our nation.
Now in this strange dream, I saw a hare and a tortoise (yes! Just like the children’s story). The hare and the tortoise were standing in the starting blocks as a race was about to take place between them.
In this dream I could see and hear a large gathering of what seemed to be forest animals who were watching with great anticipation as to who would win the race and be crowned the victor.
In the dream I could hear the loud cheers as many shouted out for the hare who looked very confident and self assured.
The hare walked up and down the starting line puffing out his chest — the crowds loved the hare.
While the tortoise was less self assured, his glaring inadequacies, compared to the hare, made him a little more reserved. However the tortoise seemed to have a few cheerleaders who shouted out his name.
In the dream, I watched as the hare and the tortoise took their places, as the race was about to begin, and putting their right feet forward, they waited with great expectation to hear the sound of the bang from the starting gun.
I could clearly hear the crowds shouting as the two took their place. Anticipation grew with every passing minute. Then suddenly, the sound of a loud and piercing bang was heard and I watched as both the hare and the tortoise took off speedily down the road.
In the dream, I seemed to be running close behind as the hare and the tortoise ran ahead. But as I looked at the road/r ace track before me, I noticed that the road was very bumpy and uneven, large rocks and small stones covered the surface of the road, and big deep potholes waited around every corner.
But as I stayed watching the hare and the tortoise compete with one another, I could not help but notice that the hare looked comfortable and moved very fast. He was familiar with the terrain and did not seem challenged by the various obstacles that were put in their way to make the race more difficult.
Soon the hare had run far ahead, leaving the tortoise in his dust.
At this point, my eyes turned back towards the tortoise, who was running very slowly. The big heavy shell on his back really seemed to hinder him and his short legs struggled to deal with the uneven and difficult terrain.
But I noticed that in spite of the great challenges that he faced, the tortoise seemed undeterred and became more determined to run with all his strength.
Suddenly my eyes caught a glimpse of the road ahead where I saw that the hare was sitting under the shade of a big apple tree and he had fallen asleep!
Now in the dream, I started to shout out to the hare, but he was in a deep sleep. I shouted out again and again my voice getting louder and louder with each shout, but the hare continued to sleep, snoring loudly as he rested under the shady tree.
Then looking again at the tortoise who was now running towards me, slowly but steady he moved, his big heavy shell swaying back and forth as he ran, his short legs desperately trying to navigate the tough and rough terrain.
I watched as the tortoise continued to move forward, putting one foot in front of the other Soon the tortoise ran right past me and the sleeping hare.
With a look of great determination upon his face, I knew the tortoise was about to win his race.
Again I shouted out in great desperation to the sleeping hare, but the hare seemed to be completely deaf to my panicked cries.
Then suddenly the dream shifted and I found myself standing at the finish line. The crowds were shouting very loudly and all eyes were watching with great anticipation for who would come around the corner first.
Now at this point in the dream I felt a great sense of dread, as I stood watching and listening to the shouts of the crowds behind me.
In the dream I found myself praying aloud for the hare, that he would wake up and not take his victory against the tortoise for granted.
Then, a silent hush came over the shouting crowds and the atmosphere changed. I looked up and I saw the tortoise. Slow but steady, he crossed over the finish line to claim the victory over the hare.
The crowds began to shout in anger and disbelief at the outcome of the race. “Where is the hare?” they shouted, “Where is the hare?”
Then at that moment, the hare, who had been fast asleep and taking his victory for granted, suddenly appeared in the distance, running with great speed.
I watched as he crossed the finish line, but it was too late. The tortoise had won, slow and steady had taken the crown.
The dream ended.
As I woke from this dream, I felt a great urgency to pray.
I immediately inquired of The LORD and The Holy Spirit quickened to me Ecclesiastes 9:11, which says,
“I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle…..”
Now as I heard the words Ecclesiastes 9:11, the numbers 911 immediately caught my attention —an emergency number.
So I began to pray fervently ,for both God’s protection and His divine intervention in the unfolding political race that is taking place in this hour.
I cried out to The LORD that He would cause an awakening to Kingdom purpose and destiny within His chosen vessel; that He would bind up the spirits of passivity, complacency and pride that are at work in our leaders and over our nation, in this hour.
I prayed that the Hand of The LORD would bring forth a leader for our nation at this time, who will truly see, know and understand, the great and eternal value of our Kingdom Destiny and Birthright as a sovereign nation under God.
A serious warning to the sleeping Church..!
Furthermore, as I prayed over this dream, while I could see a powerful correlation concerning the leaders who are contending for the crown as Prime Minister, The Holy Spirit showed me a powerful correlation concerning the Body of Christ!
The Body of Christ in our nation has become prideful, complacency and passivity has made the Church self assured and self dependent.
With a puffed-out chest, she has looked to her own abilities and her own agendas. Playing to the shouting crowds, the Church has been more concerned about her popularity, than walking in purity, righteousness and holiness.
The Church has totally underestimated the power of the enemy and running ahead with preconceived ideas of what victory really looks like, the Church has become impotent and powerless.
Indeed the Church pays no attention to the weak and the vulnerable in their midst. They have become lovers of a lukewarm gospel.
They bow the knee to the lust of the eyes, to the lust of the flesh and to the pride of life.
Many leaders in our nation have become worshippers of themselves and walk only in the fear of man and not in The Fear of God. Therefore the Church has lost the vision of her true identity, authority and kingdom destiny.
The cool shade of a compromised message has caused her to fall into a deep sleep, while the enemy advances and takes ground.
The Church has become deaf to the cries of the prophets who call out in desperation, “Wake up and return to your first love! Wake up! Arise! It’s time to finish your race! It’s time to advance and occupy!”
Truly, the ears of many Churches have been deafened to the warnings of the judgement that is to come.
Surely I tell you, their candlestick shall be removed.
Blessings to you all.
