Last night, The LORD gave me a revelation about “Closed Doors.”

We always think of them as a missed opportunity in some way.  In some cases in the natural, it looks that way.

But here is what I was shown.  The Holy Spirit showed me a front door to a house of a Child of God.  There was the main door of course.

But I saw Old Wooden Doors, Ancient Doors, that were shut over that front door.  They were the Storm Doors of Heaven.

And I began to hear how these Closed Doors are to close us inside of His Protection.  You know how you feel after a hard day and going into your house and shutting the door behind you and feeling safe and getting some relief from the outside world?

So it is the same in The Spirit.  Doors are closed so that the enemy cannot find you.  You are hidden in Christ who IS the Door.  You are safe and protected and locked away in Him.

He showed me how God shut the door to Noah’s ark.  He shut them in and they were safe and protected from the storms coming upon the world.

Then He took me to Exodus where God had the Jews slaughter a lamb and put the blood on the doorposts.

The spirit of death PASSED OVER them.  Jesus is The Lamb of God.  We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb!

We have the Blood of Jesus on our doors, both natural and spiritual!  The spirit of death MUST pass over you!

And then He showed me in Isaiah 26:20 where it says,

“Come, My people, enter into your chambers, and shut the doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.”

And then to the Song of Solomon 1:4,

“Draw me, we will run after You: the King has brought me into His chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in You, we will remember Your Love more than wine: the upright love You.”

Then The Holy Spirit took me to the New Testament.  Even BETTER Promises are for us through Jesus!

He is our Door.  He is our Protector.  The work of The Cross is finished.  This is the Substance of the Wood of the Protecting Doors.

I was taken to The Book of Matthew where the Pharisees sent officers to arrest Jesus at the place where He was staying.

They could not arrest Him or take him or touch Him.  He shut the door in their faces until it was the appointed time to go to The Cross.  Isn’t that amazing?

Know this.  Our God is in control.  We are “closed in” in His Protection.  Jesus is the DOOR to His sheep.

Did you know that a shepherd will lay down in front of a sheep pen, not to imprison the sheep but to keep the wolves OUT?

He keeps them safe with His own body!  And so it is with Jesus and you, Child of God.  He laid down His life so that you would be saved and protected and in His care forever more!

The KING OF GLORY has brought you into His Chambers and shut the door in the enemy’s face!  You are SAFE behind the Storm Doors of Heaven.

Behind these closed doors you are saved from the grip of the enemy.  And he gave me Psalm 139:5,

“You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.”

“You are hemmed in, Beloved, behind and before.  My Loving Hand is upon you.  I AM He who shuts doors and no man can open and opens doors no man can shut.

I have placed you IN Christ.  I AM the Door.  Only I hold the Key.  The Blood of the Lamb is upon your doorposts.  Death and destruction shall pass over you.

I have placed My Door over every Entryway, both natural and Spiritual.  They are the Ancient Doors enclosing you round about.

I shall keep you safe from the destructive storms of life and surround you with Shalom Peace.  You reside forever in the King’s Chambers because of The Cross.

The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy but I came to bring you Life and Life abundantly.

The enemy may look for you but he will not find you for where you are, he cannot come.  I have hidden you in Christ Jesus, Dear One.

The destruction of this earth shall pass over you as you keep your eyes upon Me.  You dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High.

I AM your Refuge and Fortress.  You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.  You are behind Closed Doors, Beloved, safe under the Shadow of My Wings.”

“And to the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Philadelphia write: “These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He who has the key [to the house] of David, He who opens and no one will [be able to] shut, and He who shuts and no one opens.”   Revelation 3:7 AMP.

“I will place on His shoulder the key to the house of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.”   Isaiah 22:22.

“Those that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered as God had commanded him; and The LORD CLOSED THE DOOR behind him.”   Genesis 7:16 NASB.

“Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs…
…… The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.”   Exodus 12:7,13.

“When the Pharisees heard the crowd whispering these things about Jesus, they and the chief priests sent officers to arrest Him.  Jesus said, “I will be with you a little while longer and then I am going to the One who sent Me.  You will look for Me, but you will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come.””   Matthew 7:32-34.

“I AM THE DOOR. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.  I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.  I am the good shepherd.  The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.  He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.  He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.  I am the good shepherd.  I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.”   John 10:9-15.

“Lift up your heads, O gates!  And be lifted up, O ancient doors,that the King of glory may come in.  Who is this King of glory?  The LORD, strong and mighty,The LORD, mighty in battle!  Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors,that the King of glory may come in.  Who is this King of glory?  The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory! Selah.”   Psalm 24:7-10.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of The LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, n Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.  Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. because you have made The LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.  You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.”   Psalm 91:1-16.
