God is outside of time and sees everything from an eternal perspective.

God saw Hagar and Ishmael’s future.  Jesus saw the faith of the paralytic.  He demonstrated the hope of the resurrection … just moments before His arrest, Jesus commands His sleepy disciples, “Rise!”

You can hear His thundering voice saying, “Hagar, rise! Young man, rise! Child, rise! It’s not over!”

Hear Him thundering over you right now.  Beloved, it’s not over!  Right where you are,  God is calling to you: “Rise!”

In every scenario, the situation looked hopeless.  Hagar’s son is dying, the man is paralyzed, the child is dead, and the King of Glory is about to be arrested, tried, and killed.

Oh but behind the scenes where no one else could see or believe.  They will Rise!

Rise up from your war torn battlefield.

Rise up from the barrenness, the brokenness.

Rise up from that place the enemy thought he buried you.

Rise up from that place where you been wounded by the religious scorn.

Rise up from the voices that said you will not make it.

Through the haze of the battle, the pain, the anguish, the sweat, blood, and tears; rise up and refuse to stay down!

Rise up and get your Roar on!
