If we are a Spirit-filled being, there is something we must never forget.

The Holy Ghost, resides in a human body.  This body is not eternal; neither is it omnipotent.  It is but a hand full of dust; built up with a touch of water.

The only thing that is eternal, is the spirit that dwells within it.  Once that spirit leaves this mortal creation, all else with return from whence it came.

This outer shell has fulfilled its purpose; it’s no longer needed.  The Holy Spirit, no longer needs it either.

Down through the years, those who humbly sought to be used of the Spirit and operate in that realm; were taught.  In many of us, we desired this place.  It required that you be taught by the Holy Ghost.

There were many ways, many manifestations and much learning that led to such a wonderful fulfillment.  Each learned first through the hearing of the Word, perhaps from the time we were even young children.

Hearing often began at home, at church and through those whom God had placed in our paths.  In time, we learned to listen and hear for ourselves.

God chose vessels many times, often before it was even known to that person.  The scriptures bear witness to that fact.  In other words, you had a mission to carry out, a job to do that was ordained and chosen, before you even stepped into this world.

That would never change; that was also written.  From the time you entered into this space called human life, your path was ordered.  God knew what He had for you to do.

If we look back down the road, we most often had no idea, the road upon which we were going to travel.  Of all the twists and turns.

Through meetings of all kinds, revivals, camp-meetings and conferences, we gleaned and garnered things we were meant to hear.  Paths that we were meant to cross.

In short, we heard what we were meant to hear; what God meant for us to hear.  It became a part of us.  All of life’s experiences, every transition, every happiness, heartache and trial, made us who we were.

And we were meant to share that with others.  Some of us had an idea of what we were meant to be; we just didn’t know when it would all come about.  The time has come; we’re here.

You cannot continually pour out of yourself, without having someone pour back into you.  The Spirit will fill us with power and strength to do what we’re to do.

But too often, we had not been taught the true responsibility we had toward one another.

If I’ve learned one thing in these past years, it’s something The LORD spoke directly about; many times.  The apostles spoke the same.  Love one another.  Be kind and tinder-hearted to one another.  Encourage, lift-up and minister to our brothers and sisters.

Can you count the number of times they said it?

You’re not going to make it by yourself.  We must look for those who can give back.  Those who can minister to us, as we have ministered to others.

The Spirit calls for us to know this now; this very moment.  One will have to know how to discern in the Spirit to do this.  We are being oppressed on every side.

I have come to know something in these past weeks and months.  It is that there is an epidemic of starvation in this country; but it is not a physical starvation.  It was already here, before this latest turn of events we are besieged with at this very moment.

It is emotional starvation.

At least half of all people, feel they have no one they can talk to.  Almost no one seems genuinely interested in your real affairs or what’s really happening in your life; not really.

It’s been said that in one out of every four people, their spirit is dying.  We’re so distracted, we’ve become so caught up in the things of this world, the cares of this life, we don’t know the plight of others.

To a great degree, we have become a shallow, plastic society; we’ve become, only a form.

This is long, but I am pressed to finish.

We’re at a crossroads.  At this very moment, many are in desperate need of someone with real faith to step forward.

The spirits of many people are beginning to die all around us, and the rest of the world.  They already were.  And this includes those who are named to be a part of the body of Christ.

Starved for affection, for kindness, for love, for understanding, intimacy and one soul to care.

The greatest loss must be to be dead inside, and not even know it.
