SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/28/14:
You, beloved, are My ambassadors sent to represent Me on the earth.  Make sure that your lives are an accurate representation of My kingdom.  Your true heart will be revealed not just by what you say but by what you do.  See that you treat others with kindness and love, says the Lord.  Be a vessel where My Spirit can dwell.
2 Corinthians 3:2-3  “You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/27/14:
I hear the words “malleable” and “pliable” in my spirit, and the Lord says: I want to be able to mold you and shape you like clay in the hands of a potter. In order for Me to do this, you must make a quality decision to live a surrendered life, which requires your complete trust and realization that I can and will do supernatural and extraordinary things with you. You are not beyond My reach or awareness, but you must develop an unshakable faith in the fact that I know you and see you; that I am for you and not against you.
Psalm 139:7-10 “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/26/14:
Submit yourself to Me completely, and yield to the moving of My Spirit in and around you.  You must do this before you can walk fully in My purposes.  Offer up your own desires that they may be sanctified or set apart for My will to be fulfilled in your life.  Allow spiritual purification to be your pathway, says the Lord.  Re-examine your decisions when you feel hindered and things become too difficult, and let Me show you the way to clarity and victory.
Psalms 32:8   “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/25/14:
Keep your eyes wide open and watch as I expose corruption on every level.  But I speak to your hearts, My people, to never take advantage of anyone for your personal gain.  Treat each other with high regard and respect and without prejudice.  Your love for Me is proven in how you treat others, says the Lord.  Be kind and generous in your attitudes.
Matthew 7:12a  “Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them.”

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS — 2/24/14:
You are indeed children of light.  So, walk in the light.  Walk in the power of the light, and darkness will not overcome you.  Walk in such a way that you see the glorious light of My presence and allow it to become your light that will illuminate the path before you.  And, then you can walk on that path with great comfort, joy and peace because you know that it is a path of victory.  It will bring you into the fullness of My purpose and My blessings, says the Lord. Be children of the light.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/24/14:
I heard the word “practicum” in the Spirit, and the Lord said:  You /have studied My Word and learned a lot about what to do and what not to do in order to develop spiritually and make life work naturally.  But, unless you put what you’ve learned to work in practical experience, you have gained nothing.  Don’t be just a hearer of the word, but be a doer also.  Practice what you know to do.
2 Timothy 3:6-7   “For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/21/14:
If you will allow it, I will lift you up out of places of despair and confusion.  And, you will know that I have done a great work in you and accomplished through you things that you could not do of your own volition.  But, you must yield yourself completely and let go of the darkness that has kept you from My presence, says the Lord.  If you will do your part, I will do Mine.  Let Me bring you out of the depths and into the light.
John 8:12   “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.'”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/20/14:
Let go of everything that has produced stress.  I speak of those things that are out of your ability to control.  I tell you truly that the time you have spent in agitation and worry has not helped one bit, but has actually been a detriment to your faith.  Trust Me with every troublesome and difficult situation that is beyond your resources–physically, emotionally, mentally, or financially.  I will give wisdom and direction in your circumstances, says the Lord.  Do not be afraid.
Psalms 73:28  “But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all Your works.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 5/19/14:
Spiritual discernment is vital in these times when fraudulent schemes abound.  Set a watch for people who are more than willing to take advantage of you.  They are adept at finding and preying on your places of vulnerability and weakness.  Stand your guard, and remember that when something seems too good to be true, it probably is.  Trust Me to lead you through every maze of deception, says the Lord.  I am the way, the truth and the life.
2 Timothy 3:12-14   “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.  But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.  But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 5/18/14:
In a vision I saw a woman in deep and sincere worship.  Then, I saw a shepherd with his sheep in a pasture that had been over-grazed.  He began to lead his flock up a fairly steep path until they arrived at a high-mountain valley.  The water was cold and clear, and the meadow was  coming alive with new growth–sweet and tender vegetation.  There was a sense of new life and fresh excitement.  I believe the woman represents those who worship in spirit and in truth, the flock who sincerely follows Christ, the true Shepherd.  The overgrazed pasture represents the stagnation of trying to feed on the same old religious cliches.  It is time to move up to higher spiritual ground where we can find fresh anointing and revelation of the Kingdom of God that will nourish and satisfy.
Matthew 7:13-14   “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS — 2/17/14:
My prophets bring forth things old and things new.  The way is open for you to let go of things that are bound up in the past so that you may begin this new adventure.  For, whatever has assaulted you in these past weeks, whatever has bound you, this is the day to be released and break out so that you may walk the path of My anointing in this season.   I have declared that a new anointing is coming upon My people.  It is a more powerful anointing than you have ever walked in.  It will break every yoke of bondage.  It will release the captive and will cause you to walk in a new place of authority.  It will bring the manifestation of your words to fufill My purpose and to call things that are not as though they are, says the Lord.  All you must do is believe.  I will go before you and prepare the way of My word, and then you will follow and receive the blessings of it.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/17/14:
I will bring to your remembrance various people who have either mistreated or misjudged you.  This is for the purpose of examination to see if there is something you need to understand from those encounters or need to forgive so that you can be liberated from lingering oppression.  It is My desire that you be released from the anchors of the past that keep you from moving forward in My purposes, says the Lord.  Freedom awaits!
Psalm 146:5-8   “Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God, Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever, Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; the LORD raises those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous”.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/14/14:
Beloved, I would have you walk in the Spirit more completely and more consistently.  To do this you must stay in the Spirit and refuse to be derailed by allowing your emotions to rule.  Your first order of spiritual life is to keep your thoughts under control and your faith active.  Trust Me to interact with you in all things and to work on your behalf for your highest good, says the Lord.
Ephesians 2:10  “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/13/14:
Take the time and sieze the moment to step back from your troubles and view your life from an objective and greater perspective.  See it through the eyes and truth of eternity, and be grateful.  Remember that you belong to Me.  Know that I have chosen you not only to live in My kingdom, but to be My representative.  You are just a pilgrim passing through all that is temporary on your way to that which lasts forever, says the Lord.
Psalms 26:7   “That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/12/14:
Watch for situations that create stress, and set yourself to maintain peace instead.  This is definitely a time when the proverbial molehill can become an insurmountable mountain if you lose objectivity.  Trust in Me to bring you through every circumstance in victory.  Be focused and stay positive so that despair cannot undermine your faith or determination, says the Lord.
Matthew 21:21   “So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.””

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/114/14:
Accept and embrace change as you do the seasons.  The changes you face are inevitable whether you receive them with joy and expectation or with resistance and dread.  Make it easy on yourself and be willing to move with My Spirit in freedom and fluidity.  You can trust Me to cause everything to work together for your good.  Let My glory be known in all you do, says the Lord.
Romans 8:28  “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS — 2/10/14:
Do you believe My word?  My word is absolute.  For those things that I speak will come to pass.   And, those things that come to pass will become the blessings of the children of the kingdom of heaven.  So, please, do not forget that I am the Lord of glory and My glory rests over all you do and believe.  For, these are the days of the fulfillment of divine things in this land.  Be faithful, for I am faithful.  And, in your faithfulness you shall see the mighty outpouring of My Spirit, says the Lord God.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/10/14:
The work that is ahead of you may seem daunting and beyond your scope.  But, if you put your trust in Me I will make the seemingly impossible not only possible but plausible.  I will strengthen you and give you the vision to accomplish more than you could have imagined or believed, says the Lord.  Just put one foot in front of the other as you take things one step at a time, and do not be afraid.  I am on the journey with you.
Mark 5:36b    “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/7/14:
I will go before you to remove every hindrance and to pave the way for you to achieve all that I have set before you.  Refuse to allow uncertainty or worry to undermine your faith or cloud your judgment.  Let Me lead you on this path, for I will do so skillfully.  But, you must stay focused and keep your priorities in order so that nothing can draw you off course, says the Lord.  Walk in the Spirit!
Isaiah 62:10  “Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/6/14:
Beloved, give careful thought in how to proceed in the issues that require your attention.  This is a time when you need a clear and unclouded perspective so that you can operate from an overall view rather than focusing on details only.  Let My wisdom be the greatest contributor in the choices you make, and trust Me for guidance and direction, says the Lord. I am with you at all times.
Isaiah 58:11  “The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/5/14:
The decisions that you make at this time will produce extraordinary and lasting results. Take the time to ask for wisdom as you consider the choices you make in this season.  Be sure that whatever you decide comes from a heart of integrity and sincerity.  Be honest about your motives, and keep your conscience clear at all times, says the Lord.  Take full advantage of the opportunities to be built up and not torn down.
Jeremiah 42:10  “If you will still remain in this land, then I will build you and not pull you down, and I will plant you and not pluck you up. For I relent concerning the disaster that I have brought upon you.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/4/14:
I am extricating you from things that have kept you bound and have kept you from personal intimate relationship with Me, says the Lord.  Be sensitive to things that draw your attention away to fleshly endeavors and away from seeking My face.  Position yourself by prioritizing your time and energy in ways that will bring glory to My kingdom.  I will give you the strength and direction to make the necessary changes that will lead to purity and righteousness.
Philippians 2:13   “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

\THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS — 2/3/14:
If you have heard My word and believed it, it is yours.  Do not allow the enemy to steal the seed of it in any way; not because of conflict or because of negative circumstance.  Refuse to give him a position, and remain steadfast.  My seed will indeed come up and bear fruit.  It will become the full plant, from the seed to the stalk to the head.  And, I will help you, lead and guide you.  I will establish the word to such extent that there will be no unbelief.  Receive this in My name, says the Lord God.  Be restored to a position of fullness.  It is your kingdom right.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 2/3/14:
Maintain stability in the process of change or turmoil by reiterating the truth of My word.  Keep your thoughts clear of unnecessary chatter, and establish yourself in tranquility.  Be steady and stay strong spiritually so that you can face and overcome every challenge that presents itself.  I am with you in every situation to lead you in the path of peace and safety, says the Lord.
Isaiah 26:3  “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”
