  1. 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 (NKJV)
    Glory Only in the Lord
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

    Numbers 14:21 (NKJV)
21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord—

  2. First, I want to tell you that Jesus teaches me so much through your witness that, even though we have not met in person, I tend to think of you as a big sister in Christ. Thank you for all that you share and for your life of passionate and loving service to Jesus and to His Body.

Secondly, I want to tell you that last night I also had nightmares; I had two. It is rare that I ever have nightmares at all. To have two in one night is peculiar indeed.

I won’t describe them in detail, but they were right in line with yours in a startling way. After the first one, I woke up and began immediately praying. I prayed the 23rd Psalm, the Lord’s prayer and also from the 24th Psalm- that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.

I have been reading the 24th, 23rd and 25th Psalm almost on a daily basis lately. After I prayed, I was drawn into the calm, loving presence of Jesus and rested and fell back asleep and then had the second nightmare, and I prayed all over again and again was drawn into the peaceful and loving presence of Jesus and fell asleep until morning.

I agree with you in Christ that we must rise and shine in Him- I believe very strongly that we must rise above the confusion that is seen at a certain level and stand instead as beloved sons and daughters of God beside Him and look from His perspective as Lord of lords and King of kings, having all authority and complete victory.

We do not have to declare this by might or by strength, but through the Holy Spirit. We declare it freely, joyfully and with certainty because it is already true.

“The word of the Lord holds true, and everything He does is worthy of our trust. He loves whatever is just and good, and His unfailing love fills the earth.” Psalm 33:4-5

“…And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church],

Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].”

    Ephesians 1:19-23, AMP
