The Esther Dream and The 2 Churches — 8 Comments

  1. Mary, this is incredibly phenomenal. Absolutely right, the two different churches of today. Thank you so much.  God bless sister.

  2. How can any of us Christians look down on others for their sins when we are no better than they? What Christian who looks at the other Christian and thinks, “Oh my! What a sinner! I’m so glad I’m living a holy life unlike that person over there!” Firstly if any one thinks that they are holy because they are obeying the Law such is deceived. Such is impossible. A person might think that, “I do not do such sins so I am so holy.” Ok, but the Law will smack right in the same’s face all the other sins that he/she does do. The Law is there to SHUT up the mouths of people. To silent them so they go from, “I’m so holy!” to “I’m a wicked sinner! I cannot obey the Law! I need Jesus!” Do they themselves actually practice what they preach and live a holy life? Far from it. They tell other Christians do not sin and do not live in sin, but themselves sin too. That’s hypocritical. They say turn from sin but themselves have not. Turning from sin means to obey the Law, and not one of the same have actually practiced what they preach.

    Not sinning according to some means to keep the Law, ok, so which one of us can perfectly keep the Law? How can anybody point the finger at others and say, “You are a sinner. Look at how unholy you are.” or any such thing while at the same time they too are imperfect? They too sin.  “Oh but I don’t do what that person did!” Maybe so. However, such people are not looking at their own faults. They are just like that hypocritical Pharisee who looked down at the other guy, “Oh, I am so glad I’m not like him. I do blah blah and blah.” In that parable who was the one that was justified? It was the one who admitted he was a sinner. Admitted he had faults. Who said God be merciful to me a sinner. It was not the self righteous one boasting of how he did this and that and was not a sinner unlike that other guy.

    Too many in the church are like that. They look at someone else and think,”Oh, such a sinner! I’m glad I’m not like that!” Problem is these same require others to obey the Law perfectly which they themselves do not have to. They pile on heavy burdens on people demanding perfection. Yet are any of them perfect? Nope. If they were honest with themselves and honestly compared themselves to the Law, they would find out they too aren’t. I am honestly sick and tired of the arrogant holier than thou self righteous attitude coming from some. Those who think they are some how holy and sinless because they think they are obeying the Law perfectly have not fully looked at the Law in a honest manner. They hold the Law up against others but the same will not hold it against themselves.

    Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

    Paul says that he wanted to be “found in him” obviously the Lord, “not having mine own righteousness, which is of the Law.” Most miss that. He is saying that his own righteousness, his self righteousness in other words, is of the Law. The Bible teaches in Isaiah 64:6 that

    “6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

    It says that ALL of OUR RIGHTEOUSNESSES are as filthy rags. It does not say some of them. It says ALL. It does not say unrighteousness but righteousness. We found out that Paul referred to his righteousness is of the Law. So if ALL of OUR RIGHTEOUSNESSES are as filthy rags and OUR righteousness is our keeping of the Law. That means logically that a person’s attempts at keeping the Law are self righteousness and are filthy rags.

    Paul also says that those who go about establishing their own righteousness have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God in Romans 10.

    Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

    4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

    Christ is the END of the Law for RIGHTEOUSNESS to EVERYONE that BELIEVETH.  Not, Christ is the beginning of keeping the Law for self righteousness to only a few who think their pathetic attempts at obey the Law are actually holy.

    So logically again too. Paul referred to his righteousness as being of the Law. Our own righteousness is of the Law. So if we go about trying to obey the Law (aka establishing our own righteousness). We have not submitted to God’s righteousness. Further we are putting on filthy rags. Some do not see that because they actually think they are obeying the Law perfectly.

    Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

    There are still some that need their mouths stopped. They need to be left in a state where they are like, “If it was not for Jesus, I would have no hope.” Not this, “Oh look at that sinner. So glad I’m not like that!”

    20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

    Yet there are some who seem to think that their keeping of the Law is going to justify them in His sight? How? The Law will just point out their sins.

    Person: “I didn’t lie! I’m so holy!”
    Law: Well, you disobeyed this commandment. That one. That one over there. Oh and that one.

    21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

    Righteousness of God WITHOUT the Law.

    22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

    The righteousness of God which is by keeping the Law and obeying the commandments. Oh wait nope. It does not say that. It says rather which is by FAITH of Jesus Christ unto ALL and upon ALL them that believe. Not them that keep the Law.

    23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    We are JUSTIFIED FREELY by His grace. We are not justified by our works.

    25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

    26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

    He is the justifier of those who believe in Jesus. Nothing here about those who keep the Law.

    27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

    28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

    A man is justified by FAITH WITHOUT the deeds of the Law.

    Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

    Further what is interesting is Jesus said this…

    John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

    8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

    9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

    It says of sin, because they believe not on me.

    It does not say of sin, because they do not obey the Law or keep the Commandments.

    So if it was based on our obedience to the Law and the Commandments, then why didn’t Jesus say that? There is not one of us who can obey the Law perfectly. Not one.

    The Law and the pathetic attempt at keeping it cannot save anyone.

    Now granted we should not live in sin just all willy nilly. However, no one is perfect and to demand others be perfect (when we ourselves are far from it) is majorly hypocritical.

    “You obey the Law perfectly or else you aren’t really saved. I, however, don’t have to.”

    Truth be told there is not one of us who can obey the Law perfectly. There are those of us who know that truth and those who actually think they can and are. Reason is because they watered it down and made it to suit them.

    “Thou shalt not bear false witness. Uh well I didn’t actually do that. It was just a white lie. I’m justified.”

    Scripture says as we have seen that by the Law shall NO MAN be justified but some still think that such is possible.

    Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

    What is the purpose for Jesus having to die for us and pay the price for our sins if we could just all save ourselves through our obedience to the Law? If such were the case, then His death was pointless. “It was so nice of Jesus to die for me. No need though. I can just obey the Law and can save myself. I so holy.” Jesus is the Savior. We are not.

    Galatians 3 in fact the entire book is good for those who think that obedience to the Law is the way to go.

    Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

    No man is justified by the Law in the sight of God so for all those who think that they are seen as holy and righteous before God cause they keep the Law. No, you are not. No one is.

    Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

    Righteousness does NOT come by the Law. Only people who will see that are those who are honest with themselves not twist the Law to make it fit their agenda. Twist things or add things or take away things.

    Some ought to sing the song as how they really feel, “My hope is built on nothing less than my holier than thou self righteousness. It is my works I trust to save me. I don’t need Jesus no sirree. On my keeping of the Law I stand. I will not grab hold of Jesus’ hand.”

    We either will trust in the Law to save us or trust in Jesus. One or the other. If we are trusting in the Law, we are NOT trusting in Jesus alone. One of the two is our Savior. Either Jesus is or the Law. Some would say they are trusting in Jesus alone, but they really are trusting in the Law. By the Law shall NO MAN be justified.

    Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

    By Jesus ALL that BELIEVE are JUSTIFIED from ALL things. It says further that from which ye could NOT be justified by the law of Moses.

    How many more Scriptures make it clear that we are not justified by the Law but still some preach that we are?

    Read Romans 4 and Romans 5. For that matter where does it say that we are justified by the Law? There are multiple verses that say otherwise. Why are some Christians lying and deceiving others preaching that righteousness is found through their obedience to the Law and not through faith in Jesus?

    Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

    Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

    Our only hope is in Jesus. There is no hope that we can find in ourselves or in our works.

    • In the end God will say “Well done” thou good and faithful servant. God requires our obedience. “If you love me then keep my commandments”, John 14:15 – Salvation is not earned it’s a gift freely given to us by God but the fruit of salvation should be apparent in the believers life.
      Also, if you believe that people can’t judge that is a fallacy.God says judge righteously John 7:24. This “word” that is released here is about wheat and Tares; Matthew 13:24-30; sheep and goats Matthew 25:31-46. Another example, “Thou shall not kill”. Guess what a violator will be tried and judged and removed from society. Please pray for clarity when reading the scripture. God used human beings to bring swift justice on violators. God is Love but He is also a God of war and so much more. And God can and does use prophets, etc to release the heart of God to bring edification, correction and rebuke 2 Timothy 3:16. May the Holy Spirit lead you into understanding and discernment.

  3. Hi Mary, WOW!!! As a Worship Pastor’s wife, I have seen and lived this in so many ways.! The last few years of ministry have been incredibly heart-wrenching for some of these reasons. Thank you for sharing and confirming/clarifying what the Lord has been teaching my hubby and me. PLEASE, pray we ONLY go where the Lord would have us go next in ministry as we are in transition and desperately need His provision and insight. – Elisabeth Simon Stuthard

  4. This dream is very interesting and requires more “insight”.

    Before reading this I was studying SOS 3,4.5 about (Myrrh) and Jn 12:3 (Mary) with spikenard( not myrrh), and Mt 2:11, about baby Jesus, Mary, His mother, and the gold , frankincense and myrrh gifts. Mt 26:12, which describes another woman, who I think is another “Mary” Mag(Lk 7:37-39) pours out a precious ointment>G 3464 Muron//Myrrh, on His Feet. Jesus said she was anointing Him for burial!

    Here’s what is interesting..to me anyway.

    Myrrh, Mary (Heb) and Hadassah//Esther, are tied in together. Hadassah means “Myrtle” which is from the Greek Muron, Lk7:37, which is taken from Smyrna and “probably” per Strong’s, from Hebrew for Myrrh H4753 Mor, which is from H4843 Marar which means “bitter”.
    Mary//Miriam come from Mararh>H4843 also meaning “bitter”.

    Myrtle was used in the worship of Venus. Hadassah was renamed Esther, i.e “star”.

    She was purified with myrrh for 6 months and then 6 more months with other oils.

    Tie this in with the passages in SOS 3,4,5 about the “bride-to-be” and Her Beloved!

    Jn 19:39 explains how the Body of Christ was wrapped in about a 100 pounds of Myrrh and Aloes.

    Now look into Rev 2:8 regarding the church in Smyrna.

    My mind is exploding, so I’ll wait until later to look at all this. Hope you can too, “MARY HELD”!!

    • Doug, sorry it took me so long to respond. I wasn’t really sure what to say. But it looks like God has revealed a lot to you. Grateful for your discernment. Many of the things you wrote, I had noticed too. Again, thank you for sharing your understanding and insight. God bless you.
