Scripture says that there is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the ways thereof are the ways of death.  Many people walk many ways trying to please God yet their way will never work.  The only real way to even know God is…  THE FAITH WAY.

How can one even find God to begin with?  Can you discover him or why he even exists by reason or by proof?  The Scripture says that SALVATION ITSELF IS ONLY ENTERED BY FAITH.  God himself must be BELIEVED.  A person, any person approaching God MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS.  Prove God exists?  You will of necessity SPEAK FAITH OVER IN HIM, for no man has the quality of life to even know him on the outset of his quest.

HEBREWS 11:6  (KJV, emphasis added by KD)

“But without Faith IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to please him, for he that COMETH TO GOD MUST BELIEVE that he IS, and that He IS A REWARDER OF THEM THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.”

Now we all have seen the above verse often and most all who are “Christians” know of it, but really how many really read it knowing it says…. WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE?  The hard word here is IMPOSSIBLE.  Without walking in Faith IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO EVEN BE A BELIEVER AND TO EVEN KNOW GOD.

EPHESIANS 2:8-9 (KJV, emphasis added by KD)

“For by Grace are you SAVED THROUGH …….. ***((( FAITH )))***; and NOT OF YOURSELVES it is A GIFT OF GOD:  NOT OF WORKS, least any man should boast.”  

I hear men talking about IF YOU DON’T DO THIS, OR YOU DON’T DO THAT you will never be saved.  Many speak about SAVED MEN YET GOING TO HELL, but I wonder if they have even ever found Jesus Christ as their Lord, or are they ONLY WORKING TO PLEASE HIM?  Many are STRIVING TO ENTER IN, but never able to find the door.  In the above it says that door is IMPOSSIBLE TO ENTER… WITHOUT ….. ***((( FAITH )))***.  Work all they may, the way is NEVER CLEAR except by the FAITH WAY.

Many Scientists are trying to prove how the World began.  They spend MILLIONS TO DISCOVER THE ORIGIN OF LIFE yet they do not ever UNDERSTAND life.  They miss the total mark of understanding, thinking it all had to begin somehow by a big bang or by evolution.  Many Geologist go out and examine the different strata of the Earth trying to prove how it all began and how old it is, yet there is NO REAL WAY TO KNOW BUT BY FAITH.  You must UNDERSTAND that the WAY IT BEGAN WAS NOT BY UNDERSTANDING OR A FORMULA.  This earth and all the Universe began by God and it is not even understood EXCEPT BY FAITH.

HEBREWS 11:3  (KJV, Emphasis added by KD)

“Through FAITH, we UNDERSTAND that the worlds were FRAMED BY THE WORD OF GOD, so that THE THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN were NOT MADE of things which APPEAR.”

A study of the Earth or the Heavens will NEVER REVEAL how they began.  ONLY GOD CAN BE THE ANSWER BECAUSE HE DID IT ALL BY…… ***((( FAITH )))***.  Then there is NO WAY but THE FAITH WAY to even know HOW IT ALL BEGAN.  God himself did create all, even the rocks by his spoken word.  Scientist say that rocks are a product of time, yet God says…. I SPOKE FAITH AND THEY APPEARED.  God is TIME, and he is the BEGINNING, and not only the beginning HE IS THE END.  The Scriptures say that BY HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST.  So why would man be so ignorant to even try to prove the Earth and the Universe?  Without FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!

I got a lot of YES, AMEN’S on that last paragraph I am sure, because I am speaking to a lot of Believers, but let me proceed to a even HARDER THING TO UNDERSTAND and one which is also… IMPOSSIBLE.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SERVE GOD CORRECTLY EXCEPT BY ….. FAITH.

If all we do is WORK A WORK to try and please God, then we have MISSED IT.  Faith is NOT WORKING.  Faith is Resting in God’s Ability to DO ALL.  Really Faith is RESTING.  I said it, and the Scriptures do as well.  FAITH IS RESTING IN GOD’S FINISHED WORK.  The Lord himself did WORK, and then REST.  He did at the end of his work SIT DOWN at the Right Hand of His Father to await the end.

What are you talking about someone said… THERE IS A LOT OF WORK LEFT TO DO???  Well is there?  Consider this verse that says IN ORDER TO REST IN THE LORD we are to CEASE FROM OUR WORK.

HEBREWS 4:10-11

“For he that is entered into HIS REST, he also HATH CEASED from HIS OWN WORKS, as God did from his.  Let us therefore LABOR TO ENTER into REST, lest any man FALL after the same example of UNBELIEF.”

Now it is quite clear that what He was talking about was the UNBELIEF OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD WHO CAME UP OUT OF EGYPT THAT DIED IN THE WILDERNESS…….. because of their UNBELIEF, and were not allowed to go into the Promised Land.  They did not enter because they WOULD NOT BELIEVE BY FAITH that God would DO ALL HE PROMISED.  They turned back at the river and wandered for 40 years, until they were all dead, never ever truly RESTING IN THEIR GOD TO DO THE WORK.

Now many try to serve God by WORKING, but their WORK IS NOT RESTING.  They work and strive to please God but DO NOT DO THAT WORK BY RESTING IN THE FAITH OF GOD.

Just how does this happen, some may say.  Let me say it is simply this,  IF YOU ONLY DO WHAT YOU CAN SEE AND UNDERSTAND (even as a Scientist study’s to prove the Earth and Universe without God) you have WORKED ONLY YOUR WORK and your work will not please God.  IT MUST BE A FAITH BASED WORK.  In other words it must be based upon the IMPOSSIBLE AND UNSEEN.  Faith is the quality of believing BEFORE THINGS EXIST.  The fact is FAITH THAT IS SEEN IS NOT FAITH AT ALL.  If I or anyone else sets out to do WHAT THEY SEE AND UNDERSTAND, than that is not Faith at all, but it is YOUR WAY.  God himself HAS A WAY TO DO THINGS and one MUST WALK THE FAITH WAY believing THE GOD WAY.  Consider this description again of Faith.

HEBREWS 11:1

“Now Faith IS the SUBSTANCE of THINGS HOPED FOR, the EVIDENCE of THINGS NOT SEEN.  

It is very clear by the above verse that FAITH IS THAT WHICH DOES NOT YET EXIST.  Man must SEE THROUGH EYES OF FAITH the WORK DONE.  The only real way this can ever be done is by RESTING IN GOD’S ABILITY AND PLAN.  Well the trick here is to discover THE FAITH WAY.  God has a Way which is beyond all understanding.  If I or anyone else will ONLY WALK HIS WAY and ever keep THE FAITH WAY before him, he will stop HIS WORK and WORK GOD’S WORKS.  God has a way, but his way is ONLY BY FAITH.  The hard thing for us humans to get through our understanding is GOD ALONE CAN DO ALL THINGS AND NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE OR TOO HARD.

Now we talk about living by Faith, but do we always?  It appears to me that this is not as easily done as said.  It is easy to talk about living and working ONLY BY FAITH and following ONLY GODS PLANS AND METHODS but very difficult to do.  It will certainly require ALL OF US TO STOP AND ASK WHAT IS YOUR WAY?  When God tells or shows us the Way, then it behooves us all to OBEY AND WALK THE FAITH WAY.

Even we then must come up to the RIVER OF DECISION.  Are we going to cross over and BELIEVE GOD and do it HIS WAY or are we going to do ONLY THAT WHICH WE CAN SEE AND UNDERSTAND?  Lets not forget that OUR WAY IS NOT HIS WAY.  Even as Far as the Heavens are above the Earth are our ways from His ways.

When ever I hear God speaking about what He wants me to do; it never fails that the talk He is talking IS IMPOSSIBLE.  Lately all I hear is THE IMPOSSIBLE THINGS HE WANTS ME TO DO.  It is NEVER EASY to walk THE FAITH WAY, because it will take you OUT OF YOUR SELF AND REQUIRE SUPERNATURAL WAYS.  God is BEYOND THE NATURAL.  He does not have to be confined to the NATURAL at all, but He is a SUPERNATURAL GOD who has ALL POWER IN HEAVEN AND EARTH.  If he wants to do ANYTHING he CAN.  If he wants to raise a MILLION DOLLARS OVERNIGHT he knows how.  If he wants the WHOLE TOWN TO BE TOUCHED he can TOUCH THEM.  There are NO IMPOSSIBILITIES with God.  He is MORE THAN ENOUGH.

But… NOW IT IS IMPERATIVE that we who desire to Walk in Faith and THE FAITH WAY, must totally STOP AND LISTEN ONLY TO WHAT GOD SAYS…. then we MUST OBEY and WALK His Way in doing all.  EVEN IF IT REQUIRES US TO DIE TOTALLY TO OUR SELVES AND OUR PASSIONS.  He is asking us to WALK OUT OF THE NORMAL AND EXPLAINABLE and to WALK AND LIVE in ways that are IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYONE TO EVEN UNDERSTAND.

For instance, How can a man live without food or water?  The world says you will only be able to live a certain time without eating or drinking.  Well GOD CAN go beyond all in understanding.  If he wants you to live without food or water He knows how.  Now it does speak to us as well that IF THE WAY HE IS LEADING is IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT MONEY, then that way is HIS WAY AS WELL.

Could not God create a PILE OF MONEY, or open the inexhaustible resources of Heaven to do all the work?  OF COURSE.  Some have even seed HIS INEXHAUSTIBLE SUPPLY.  If what God ask you to do requires a PILE OF MONEY, can He not FIND IT OR EVEN CREATE IT???  Or can He not touch a rich man who HAS IT?  God alone knows all the avenues and ways, even past finding out.  He IS the WAY.

So if you are walking THE FAITH WAY then you will STOP STRIVING and JUST BELIEVE.  Believe and then WATCH GOD DO IT.
