The Fundamental Characteristics of the New Covenant — 1 Comment

  1. If there is no law to keep than no one can be a hearer or a doer. If there is no law to keep one cannot be cursed.
And there cannot be any lawlessness.

and because of the abounding of the lawlessness, the love (to God) of the many shall become cold Matth.24:12

But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.Joh.7:47

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven

For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.Rom 2:13

For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do “by nature” the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, “are a law unto themselves” Rom 2:14

There are different ‘laws’ and He talks about them in different circumstances.
Law of faith , law of sin and eath, law of the spirit of Life in Jesus Christ, genetic laws (after its kind)
