I’m sitting here listening to some old gospel choir music, and it suddenly falls upon me.

And I began to weep.  “LORD, you can’t use me,” my mind was not even thinking about trying to minister anything, or write even a word.

It’s late, and I have to get up to go somewhere in the morning; some place I’ve obligated myself to.  But I know His Spirit, and I know what weeping in the Spirit is too.

I don’t even know where to start.

The lady was saying, as the choir sang softly in the background,

“It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, or what you’ve done.  There’s a call on your life, and God has need of you.

He placed that calling there, a long, long time ago.  He knew your path, long before you ever knew you had one.

You think He stopped watching you; you thought He didn’t care about you anymore, but He always did.”

What is it going to take to soften our hearts once more?

We can see; we’d have to be totally blind not to see, what shape the world is in around us.

Do you ever remember hearing about or observing so many hurting people?

Have you ever witnessed such sadness, such destruction, such broken lives and such a multitude of those, who just don’t care about any one else but them and theirs?

Didn’t we hear about this time?

Can we recall, quite some time ago now?  “Let the young people do it!”

We need to step aside and give them their chance.

It was a noble idea, and we meant it with true heart.  But we need to ask ourselves this question: Did God tell us He was finished with us?

Did He tell us our place was no longer needed?

He didn’t need us to sing anymore?  We should give in to progress and follow what was new?  Our harps, were old.

You can’t cast aside ministries.  It’s not our choice to tell God whom He can use today, and who is no longer acceptable or anointed of Him.

You see, nobody can tell us anymore that what we once had, is no longer needed.

That our kind of praise, the kind of worship we learned from loving Him, is not in order today.

Who started all of that anyway?

Does it appear to anyone else, that someone got ahead of God?

Some of the ministries that He ordained into His church, were over now.

My heart cries to some of you.  Can today’s church, pray in the same kind of power we grew into?

Are all of these new ways and ideas, taught by the Holy Ghost?  Were they birthed on knees and faces that were bent, and stayed that way?

Just how many people did we pray through to the Holy Ghost in our time?

How many precious souls did we lay hands on and see God move mightily upon them?

How many came secretly to us, to ask about what we had, and how they could get it?

To all reading this message, the LORD needs you.

You know how to pray in the Spirit.  You know how to intercede in the Spirit, when our own children and grandchildren don’t know how to.

You can discern in ways, others haven’t even been exposed to.  There is depth in you, that many have not even heard of.

God needs us; years of knowing Him, was invested in us.

We know the true way the Holy Ghost can sweep across the entire place; without music or technical device.

He needs us and wants us.  What many are doing today, does not work.  There’s too often no real power of God in it.  There’s too much self; too much performance and too much fanfare.

I hear God saying now, “There’s only one thing that you cannot be forgiven for.”

Who Paul was, and who he became, is a true example of what God does to those He needs.

The Holy Ghost is repairing some people.

Stop yourself.  See what you hear.  Feel Him move you to tears.  He never forgot about you.
