The LORD Will Never Forsake You — 7 Comments

  1. Amen! In Acts 27 when the boat was being threatened by big waves in the storm it says they wrapped frapping (ropes)around the hull of the ship. The Greek word used there for ropes is the same word in Hebrews that is translated as “help” where it says we can come to Him to find grace to “HELP” in time of need. In other words He wraps us about with his strong arms and holds us afloat and stops the waves from destroying our boat…Frapping is used to stop the planks from separating – enabling them to stay tightly together keeping the water out. Jesus has us. He also had Paul in the belly of the ship praying and fasting for all on board…which tells us that He has someone praying for you too. You will come through this storm onto dry land. You may lose some things along the way but not your soul.

  2. Thank you Father.
    I’m waiting on You, My Helper; help me.

    My Help Comes from the LORD

    A Song of Ascents.

    1I lift up my eyes to the hills.
    From where does my help come?
    2My help comes from the LORD,
    who made heaven and earth.

    3He will not let your foot be moved;
    he who keeps you will not slumber.
    4Behold, he who keeps Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

    5The LORD is your keeper;
    the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
    6The sun shall not strike you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

    7The LORD will keep you from all evil;
    he will keep your life.
    8The LORD will keep
    your going out and your coming in
    from this time forth and forevermore.

    Psalm 121 ESV
