The LORD is moving supernaturally in this season.

Those who have brought nothing but shame, disgrace and heartbreak to you shall now see the hands of God shape your life.

David was a man who had total trust in His God!  He never questioned whether God would protect him after his fight with Goliath.

He knew that he had no experience in fighting a giant — but because God gave him the assurance and the confidence to fight an enemy that everybody else feared, he learned early on that God could do the impossible.  What no other could do!

The LORD said to me that. “It will be by these experiences My People shall know who their God is and they will do great exploits in Me!”

It will be in these great exploits that God shall enlarge the tents of the righteous.

“Many have gone through great trials and have remained faithful,” saith The LORD, “and because they have, they shall see My Glory and experience My Grace and My Favor upon their lives!”

David saw something so great and that could bless us all.  That was, that the closer he got to God, the more his enemies fought him!

The more they hated him but he learned that calling out to God was where his strength lied. He called out to God to help him to defeat his enemies, and he knew it was not in his might nor his power but by the spirit of God he would prevail against those who bullied and threatened him.

How many times have you tried to overcome and to defeat your enemies by your own strength —  only to come out with mud on your face?

But in this season, it will be that God is going to turn it around in your favor, just as He did for David.

For he said,  

“Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, (in other words. “LORD, my ears are opened to your voice!”) “I AM thy salvation.”
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of The LORD chase them.  Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of The LORD persecute them,”  (Psalm 35:3-7).

David prayed for God to bring Justice and to revenge him of those who had plotted his downfall and patiently waiting on his demise.

How many people have smiled in your face and have secretly waited on the enemy to destroy you; instead of promoting you or supported you?

However…. David — a little shepherd boy who remained in the wilderness keeping the dirty sheep and feeding them day-by-day and night-by-night and defending the poor sheep — remained faithful only to risk his own life to protect the flock.

What an unselfish person David was.  He had such a love for the sheep that he stayed there faithfully, no doubt doing work which others would shy from, while his other brothers probably had other jobs more glamorous than his.

But little did he know that God had a plan and a purpose for his life that would launch him into a completely different destiny that he was being prepared for as he tended those poor little sheep in the wilderness.

David, being chosen as God’s ultimate king for Israel and that by no choice of his own, was hated and rejected by King Saul, not because he had done anything wrong, but because King Saul had failed to obey God.

Saul, because of his own disobedience, became bitter, resentful and hateful to David because he felt threatened by David.

So whenever Saul did support David, there was always an agenda or a motive behind it!

You would think because King Saul had everything he would have not despised David, but that was not the case.  An evil spirit tormented King Saul every time David came into the presence of Saul, even once he would get his javelin out to kill David.

In this season, The LORD revealed to me that the demonic gates of many have been accessed because of both rebellion, and disobedience.   Because of this, the flesh is warring against the spirit.

Many shall now follow their own pernicious ways and shall cause The Gospel to be evilly spoken of, like King Saul did.

David, a man after the heart of God, caught between a rock and a hard place, prayed to God and told him the things he had pondered in his heart,

“Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.  And my soul shall be joyful in The LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.  All my bones shall say, Lord , who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?  He said for false witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.  They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.  I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.

But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me , and ceased not: With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth,”   (Psalms 35: 8-16)

David wanted to know how long must he suffer this type of fate from his enemies, those whom he had prayed for, supported and loved as God had told him; yet nothing but evil had befallen him.

He made his mind up while waiting for his answer that he would give God thanks in the great congregation: “I will praise thee among much people.” 

He refused to be down, sad and mumbling because of his misfortunes but he was going to keep trusting in God and worshiping while he waited on Him.

The LORD is speaking and it is time to eat some meat and to learn like David did, to get in the face of God and to seek Him for His direction.

David refused to allow his enemy to get the best of him and went before God for justice!

He prayed for his enemy (Saul), even though King Saul was constantly trying to assassinate him (because of Saul’s insecurities and jealousy) all because Saul had refused to obey God.

But instead of being bitter, David became better.  He decided to worship and to praise The LORD in the face of his enemies, which angered King Saul even more, leaving David to soothe those demons with his musical instrument!  (1 Samuel 16:14-23)

“It is time to get the victory over the enemy and to put him where he belongs, under your feet,” saith The LORD.  “No more running and no more surrendering to him!”

David was constantly running from Saul, but God had a set time for his suffering to end and instead of running, God was getting ready to promote him into the heavenly realms, in Christ Jesus!

“Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; fight against those who fight against me.  ² Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.  ³ Also draw out the spear, and stop those who pursue me.
Say to my soul, “I am your salvation.”
⁴ Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor who seek after my life; let those be turned back and brought to confusion who plot my hurt.
⁵ Let them be like chaff before the wind, and let the angel of The LORD chase them.
⁶ Let their way be dark and slippery, and let the angel of The LORD pursue them.
⁷ For without cause they have hidden their net for me in a pit, which they have dug without cause for my life.
⁸ Let destruction come upon him unexpectedly, and let his net that he has hidden catch himself; into that very destruction let him fall.
⁹ And my soul shall be joyful in The LORD; it shall rejoice in His salvation.  ¹⁰ All my bones shall say, “Lord, who is like You, delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him, yes, the poor and the needy from him who plunders him?”
¹¹ Fierce witnesses rise up; they ask me things that I do not know.  ¹² They reward me evil for good, to the sorrow of my soul.  ¹³ But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth; I humbled myself with fasting; and my prayer would return to my own heart.
¹⁴ I paced about as though he were my friend or brother; I bowed down heavily, as one who mourns for his mother.  ¹⁵ But in my adversity they rejoiced and gathered together; attackers gathered against me, and I did not know it; they tore at me and did not cease; ¹⁶ With ungodly mockers at feasts they gnashed at me with their teeth.
¹⁷ LORD, how long will You look on?  Rescue me from their destructions, my precious life from the lions.
¹⁸ I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.
¹⁹ Let them not rejoice over me who are wrongfully my enemies; nor let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause.  ²⁰ For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful matters against the quiet ones in the land.
²¹ They also opened their mouth wide against me, and said, “Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen it.”
²² This You have seen, O LORD; do not keep silence.  O LORD, do not be far from me. ²³ Stir up Yourself, and awake to my vindication, to my cause, my God and my LORD.  ²⁴ Vindicate me, O LORD my God, according to Your righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.  ²⁵ Let them not say in their hearts, “Ah, so we would have it!”  Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up.”
²⁶ Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion who rejoice at my hurt; let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who exalt themselves against me.
²⁷ Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, “Let The LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”  ²⁸ And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness  and of Your praise all the day long,”   Psalm 35:1-28.

“¹⁴ But the Spirit of The LORD departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from The LORD troubled him. ¹⁵ And Saul’s servants said to him, “Surely, a distressing spirit from God is troubling you. ¹⁶ Let our master now command your servants, who are before you, to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp.  And it shall be that he will play it with his hand when the distressing spirit from God is upon you, and you shall be well.”
¹⁷ So Saul said to his servants, “Provide me now a man who can play well, and bring him to me.”
¹⁸ Then one of the servants answered and said, “Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and The LORD is with him.”
¹⁹ Therefore Saul sent messengers to Jesse, and said, “Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.”  ²⁰ And Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine, and a young goat, and sent them by his son David to Saul.  ²¹ So David came to Saul and stood before him. And he loved him greatly, and he became his armorbearer.  ²² Then Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Please let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.” ²³ And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand.  Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him,”   1 Samuel 16:14-23.
