An excerpt from my book “THE NEW MAN IN CHRIST”

There were 9 major pillars in the Tabernacle; five outside and four inside the holy place, separating the most Holy Place from the Holiest place.

I asked the LORD why the 9 pillars?  This is the revelation that came to me.

The 5 pillars represents the 5-fold ministries (apostles, prophets,evangelists, pastors and teachers) whose duties are to preach the gospel to men.

God has given every believer a ministry and that includes taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

However, God has put a greater responsibility on those in the 5-fold ministry and the evangelist seems to spearhead such field assignments.

Coming into the Holy Place, you see 4 pillars and no more 5.

God has a design for His Body.  While the evangelist works more in the field, the other 4 (apostles, prophets, pastors & teachers) has much to do within the body.

Their assignment is to prepare, build the saved soul’s brought in by the evangelists to access the DEEP THINGS OF GOD for them beyond being saved!

In the Tabernacle, the 4 pillars held standing the veil to separate and cover the Holy of Holies which veil was torn in two when Jesus said, “It is finished….” and gave up the Ghost.

Today the 4 pillars do not hold up the Veil, but to them are entrusted DEEP MYSTERIES OF THE LORD to show His people, and to prepare them to ACCESS God for themselves.

God’s Divine plan was for the veil to remain torn and so MUST IT BE!

Sadly, today, most of those in the 4 pillars have STITCHED the torn veil, preventing the people to SEE & ACCESS GOD FOR THEMSELVES!

They have become in what we call the HOUSE OF GOD, monumental figures of reverence and worship, who have taken the place of God enslaving the people in religious activities which is centred around them!
