Though It Tarries, Wait For It!

I keep hearing in my spirit, “Though It tarries, wait for it!”

Abraham and Sarah waited for years to conceive the child of promise.  They were being tested to see if they would wait upon God and not try to bring forth their promise prematurely.

If we take matters into our own hands and scheme something that looks like what God promised, He will not accept that as a replacement of His promise.

The works birthed from our impatience with God is a mere counterfeit of the real and can cause problems.  We failed to wait on our Isaac and created an Ishmael!

Anything not birthed by God is contrary to his plans for us.  Do not allow anyone to change your mind of a revelatory dream or vision that God has placed within you.

If you believe what God told you, be strong in him and in the power of his might.  Refuse the enticement of alternative schemes and plans even as well meaning as they may be as you wait upon the LORD.

Even those close to you can be used as instruments of the enemy to abort your God-given vision.

An “Ishmael”may happen along the way, but remain steadfast in God no matter how long it takes and the promise will come to pass totally and completely!

Remember the vision is for an appointed time, but in the end it shall speak and not lie, though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry,   (Habakkuk 2:3).

Though it tarries, wait for it!

Watered Down?

Have you ever tasted something that has been watered down?

Even the very finest coffee and tea will lose flavor when diluted with water.

A watered down message will lose its potency!

God’s word is eternal!   It does not conform its message to fit today’s culture.

It should not be watered down!  It spans the ages!  We can count on it in every condition!  In times of sickness, poverty, and when surrounded in a world of lies and many opinions.

His Word is established in the Heavens.  His word cannot be broken!  He cannot fail, he does not change!

His words to you are certain and set in stone!  Heaven and earth may pass away, but his Word will remain!

His Word will endure!
