Use The Word! — 2 Comments

  1. Praise God and Amen! The word “created” jumped out at me. I was just studying Rev 4:11 where The Lord, God, Almighty, is being praised in Heaven.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
He created all things. The Greek for “create” is Strong’s G2936 Ktizo. The word means to create, form, or shape. But it also corresponds to the the Latin phrase EX NIHILO, which means out of “NOTHING”! Praise God!. All of us struggle with our old natures, but as we remain in Him, He, Who is Faithful, will produce out of nothing, a Body into His Image and Likeness.(Gen 1:26-27).
I was once talking to an older saint about the 5 necessary offices mentioned in Eph 4.11, to bring about the “Perfect Man”. He told me I was missing the other 5 mentioned in 1Cor1:27-28: “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:” OUT OF NOTHING!!
These are the prerequisites for becoming what God intended us to be, i.e. His Image and Likeness.
BTW, the Lord says the word “created” 4 times in this prophecy you shared. In the Aleph Bet, the number 4 is called Dalet. The character for Dalet is said to represent a person bent over and listening. The root words for Dalet mean poor and impoverished. We all know the potter and clay analogy, so we all know that to be moldable in His Hands, we must be soft, submissive, pliable. This only comes from clay mixed with water, His HS. The dry, brittle, clay is discarded.
Eph 2:10: “For we are his workmanship, created (KTIZO) in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
