Let me tell you – when Jesus shows up things happen, He does not just happen to drop in on you…..  HE IS UP TO SOMETHING GOOD.

The Fragrance of the Lord, is really on my mind today and tonight and I just wanted to share a night I had with the Lord.  Maybe some of you should pay close attention as the Lord is showing up in amazing ways we do not always experience nor understand (and in my case were not knowledgeable about).  Someone might be think why does God do things like this, in all honesty I have no answer.

I imagine things like this would confound the Wise though, as the Bible says but to us who know the sweetness of His Presence, we are comforted when we realize Jesus just stepped in our room.

God is God and He does things His way and His was is always best for us.  He brings assurance and comfort in many different ways.

My first and only time, so far, of experience the Fragrance of Heaven.  I was the first part of this year, I had been layed up with back pain, barely able to walk, and get around the house, the nerve endings in my back were feeling like they were on fire and my right hip was in pain, down to my knee, Sciatic Nerve.

I had had back pain for years, but not like this.  Many nights I was laying awake and not able to take pain medication,  I was praying, as that was all I knew to do.  I had been going through a lot of things at that time, I felt like God was doing some pruning, I was sure I needed that, and I was in a time of deep repentance, God was drawing, (He is drawing us in close), and at the same time the war was on!  This was sometime the end of March I believe.  I had been in pain since January, I was seeing a Chiropractor and the Dr took x-rays, but nothing they could give to me but maybe a shot in my spine, but I did not want it. (I am sensitive to so many drugs I did not want to take chance of a bad reaction).

One night during that time (if I could find it in my journal I could give you dates) I woke in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom I thought, but as I sat up on the side of the bed and I could smell a Fragrance I had never in my life smelled before.  It was beautiful, I just sat there and kept breathing it in trying to figure out where it was coming from.  Being half asleep I thought Maybe I left the ‘Scenty’ on (that thing you plug it into the wall and put scented wax in it, it smells really good).

I got up and tried to see where the fragrance was coming from I went to the living room and then to the kitchen, I could not find it, so I went to the bathroom and I was not smelling it anymore.

I went back to my bedroom and sat on side of the bed and there it was again, it was only in my room, it was amazing, overwhelming indescribable FRAGRANCE for me.  I was normally in a lot of pain night and day, but that night I do not remember having trouble walking or even being in pain.  I knew it was the Fragrance of the Lord as I sat there.

″For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.   ″For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts,”   Isaiah 55:8-8.

“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!  How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!”   Romans 11:33.

Let me tell you when Jesus shows up things happen, he does not just happen to drop in on you….. HE IS UP TO SOMETHING GOOD.

He is a Good Father.  By the end of April,  I was doing much better walking, able to go out and walk a mile on many days, I even signed up at the Fitness Center to strengthen my back and muscles.  It was all good.

Let me insert this thought as plenty of times.  Jesus did NOT tangibly show up in my life and yet I was healed or came thru things victoriously.  This was just a special night I guess.  God knows.  I do believe God is revealing Himself in many ways that we may not understand, keep in mind Moses I am sure did not understand the Burning Bush and had no scripture to read?

just felt like sharing hits because if was precious to me.  And God is still doing the miraculous things as He did in the Bible and we need to share and be aware that He is and He never stopped……..
