Who will Go? — “LORD, Send Me!”
I want to share a revelation that I received this week from The Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah was one of the most fascinating prophets in The Bible. His name means “Jehovah saves.” He was a prophet/ seer and had many personal experiences with The LORD.
Isaiah prophesied the birth of Jesus in Isaiah 7:14, saying:
“Therefore The LORD Himself will give you a sign: behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
He also prophesied the death of Jesus in Isaiah 53:5 saying:
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”
He prophesied about John the Baptist in Isaiah 40:3 saying:
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: prepare the way of The LORD; make straight in the desert. a highway for our God.”
Isaiah 6:2-8 speaks of an amazing encounter that he had. He saw The LORD seated on His throne towering high and lifted up with the train of His robe filling the temple.
“Above him stood seraphim and each had six wings. With two they covered their face, with two they covered their feet and with two they flew and they cried to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is The LORD of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory!”
When the angels said this, the doorposts of the house were shaken by their thunderous voices and the house was filled with smoke which was the visible cloud of His glory.
When Isaiah saw this he stammered and said, (TPT)
“Woe is me! I’m destroyed — doomed as a sinful man! For my words are tainted and I live among people who talk the same way. King Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies! My eyes have gazed upon Him!”
Then one of the seraphim flew over to him with a live coal which had been taken with the tongs from the alter, and he touched Isaiah’s mouth with it and said,
“This has touched your lips, and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin is purged.”
It was after Isaiah repented he heard the voice of The LORD saying;
“Whom shall I send, who will go for Us?”
Isaiah’s response was,
“Here am I! Send me.”
The Book of John 12:41 is speaking of Jesus when Isaiah saw His glory. The presence of God is so powerful.
It is the essence of His being. Sometimes we get caught up in His anointing but we’ve lost The fear of The LORD.
The fear of God is not being afraid of Him but it is the reverence and respect of His holiness and awesomeness. Sometimes we forget that He created man and He is the creator of heaven and earth.
He is omnipotent, omnipresent and omnipotent.
The LORD is saying today, “Who shall I send? Who will go for Us?”
You may be thinking that The LORD doesn’t use prophets as He did back in biblical times. Prophets are part of the five fold ministry today (Ephesians 4:11) and gifts of prophecy are for today (1 Corinthians 12:10).
Jesus is looking for someone to be His mouthpiece. He is raising up Prophetic Voices who’s hearts are pure.
A bitter fountain can’t release the pure Words of The LORD. Fresh water and salt water can’t flow from the same spring.
He wants to do a transformation in our hearts so true prophetic voices will speak on His behalf. He can’t use those who are gossipers, tail bearers, slanders and liars.
He can’t use those who are speaking reckless words that pierce like a sword, but He wants to use those who have the tongue of the wise that brings healing.
He is asking us today if we will allow Him to cleanse our hearts and our lips from anything that would defile us and hinder us from being the mouthpiece of The LORD.
He is calling out once again, “Who shall I send? Who will go for us?”
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21.

to God who fulfills his purpose for me. ESV
Ps 138:8 The LORD will accomplish what concerns me;
Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Ps 139:23
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
Ps 139:24
And see if there be any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way.
