You Must Try the Spirits With All of Us, Not Part
Good morning.
Never have I seen such a contradiction in the ‘prophetic’ as today. This is in general, not in just one place. It is in the churches, on the internet, especially on YouTube!
God is not a God of confusion. He never departs from His written Word ever!
Our discernment just needs to get stronger in these last days. Confusion is the devil’s heyday! The enemy delights in dividing and conquering The Body of Christ.
How do you know what is true?
It must, it absolutely has to, line up with His Holy Word!
Our LORD never speaks contrary to the Written Word. A Rhema Word will ring true and only complement the written Word.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1 KJV.
So many are prophesying us right into a ‘complete restoration’ of our once great country. It is a deception!
Also on the other end of the pendulum is the false leaving us with no hope, and themselves not even hearing clearly.
It takes a listening ear of being still in His Presence and no agenda to print or speak what our Father is saying.
We don’t want easy believism on one hand or either doomsday speaking over us. That only puts a spirit of fear in us.
‘Balance’ we must have and ‘focus’ only on Jesus Christ. He is the God of the universe, the great I AM that I AM. He is altogether lovely and when we attain Jesus, we have obtained the Pearl of great price!!
This morning in Worship and Prayer, The Holy Spirit spoke to me Jeremiah 14. As I started to read, these verses seemed to jump out at me.
I know it was regarding Israel, but I feel it applies to American now. Father spoke to me before and called this country, “hypocriting America.”
“Thus saith the Lord unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the Lord doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.
Then said the Lord unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.
When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.
Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.” Jeremiah 14:10-15.
Do you think I have not been misquoted? Yes, I have.
Still, the Words The LORD has spoken in my quiet place to give out to the people was always about a ‘Remnant‘.
That’s what God wants us to be, a Holy Remnant.

We must prepare as destruction is here, already, but not even one little part of our joy should be missing!
The LORD will see us through all things.
Prepare to stand and fight the good fight of faith!

I agree with this word, but would say that the application of Jeremiah 14, particularly of the words “pray not for this People”, should be said to be selective. This os because there are still people in America to be saved and in the process of being saved, and because the blessings – as well as the “woes to” – in the Sermon on the Mount still apply to Americans.
Although Lord’s people have always been a remnant, I do not believe that America nor any other nation has ever been a chosen nation in the sense that Israel was, because under the New Covenant the whole global Body of Christ – both Jew and Gentile – is the holy nation.
@ Mark Roberts Thank you for your input always! I don’t believe the verse was referring to salvation although. I never took it that way nor would never speak that. Praying for people and their salvation is so very important we both know! The verse was saying about not praying for their good. It was a people who went astray. My heart is broken for my Nation how they have for the main part followed baal. Also, I do most assuredly respect Israel and give seed there monthly. I only thank God, that the unnatural branch was grafted in! Always their will be a Holy Remnant from all Nations. A Holy Remnant will come forth and stand in truth and in Spirit. Dear Sister Joyce, thank you for replying to me. I continue to pray for America from the UK. I had been encouraged that the Lord had raised up Donald Trump, but disappointed that not enough Christians – both there and here – seemed to realise this and so to get behind him. I still believe that the Lord will reverse the injustice of his removal, although this may have served a greater purpose by exposing the depth of evil which has been at work in the world.
Yes, thank you Mark Roberts.I love how the Lord brings hidden things out of darkness! The righteous love that light. I don’t have a timeline but still know our God! The Lord has even spoke to me of a ‘reprieve’. How long is that for? It may just be very short ?? Still the Lord will see us through All things in any direction. So many are going about still not repenting and thinking sin is ok. I believe your heart is like mine and some others to just keep your focus on Jesus Christ. We must work while it is still daytime. Too much debate and that is what the enemy desires. Too much politics. God bless your country to turn to God. I only know the remnant will always want truth.
