Abide, Abide, Just Abide in Him
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Abide, Abide, Just Abide in Him
Abide, abide, just abide in Him
Flow like a waterfall
Over rocks and into His Arms
Abide with Him in the Secret Place
Be still, be still, just abide in Him
Abide, abide, just abide in Him
You don’t need to say anything
You don’t need to think anything
Let the world fall away
Just abide in His sweet Presence
Float along in His Gentle Streams
To wherever He takes you
On the shore bluebells sing:
“Abide, abide, just abide in Him…
Be still, be still, know His Great Love!”
Heaven looks down from above:
So great a cloud of witnesses sing
Blessing you evermore:
“Abide, abide, just abide in Him…
Be still, be still, you are so cherished and loved!”
Let Him carry you through tall grass
Let Him carry you through deep water
Let Him carry you through wilderness
Feeding your soul, quenching your thirst
Sustaining you always!
Abide, abide, just abide in Him!
Be still, be still, just abide in Him
Abide in His Sweet Presence
Be still, know His Great Love!
You are so cherished and loved!
Abide, abide, just abide in Him
Flow like a waterfall
Over rocks and into His Arms
Abide with Him in the Secret Place
Be still, be still, just abide in Him
Abide, abide, abide
Just abide in Him
Abide, abide, abide
Be still, be still, just abide in Him
Abide, abide, abide
Just abide in Him
Abide, abide, abide
Be still, be still, just abide in Him
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.” John 15:1-10.
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1.
“Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.” 1 John 3:24.
“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” 1 John 4:16.
“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1.

Gabrielle Fuehrer came to The LORD in Spring 2020 and soon began receiving inspiration from The Holy Spirit in the form of Poems (Psalms), meant to praise, glorify and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and uplift the Body of Christ. A preschool teacher, surrounded by the blessings and love of the little ones she teaches, Gabrielle also runs the website, “Imagine a Love Like That“.
“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.

Asa always, Gabrielle,, you are in the flow. We cannot abide until we get still and know that HE is GOD and then and only then can we begin to abide in Him and allow Him to flow through us. As always your heart is listening to the only wise God who is patiently waiting on us to learn what it means to be still and know that He is God, to embrace the truth of waiting and allow Him to renew our strength so that we can run and not be weary, walk and not faint and be grateful as He teaches us one day at a time. God bless your beautiful heart, my sister. In His love, Sandi
I just smiled when I read
“Let Him carry you through tall grass,” because I had imagined being lifted up by Jesus in a bed of flowers.
Blessings peace and love to you dear Gabrielle.
