God Deals With His Prophets Personally
God has such a way of dealing with us, doesn’t He?
Somehow, He exposes the false prophets.
Someway, He exposes truth and the liars.
Sometimes, He allows the wise to confound themselves, or for the ‘foolish’ to expose their frail wisdom.
Yet, in all of this, He still uses His prophets to warn us of coming events or situations.
“This is what The LORD says — your Redeemer and Creator:
“I AM The LORD, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with me when I made the earth? I expose the false prophets as liars and make fools of fortune-tellers. I cause the wise to give bad advice, thus proving them to be fools. But I carry out the predictions of my prophets!”” Isaiah 44 24-26a.
It doesn’t need a ‘latter-day-Elijah’, or a ‘modern-Elisha’ to thunder prophecies to the world beginning with a “Thus saith The LORD”!
It doesn’t need one trained and learned in prophecy.
It doesn’t necessarily even need one who believes in prophecy.
All it takes is a willing spirit.
Actually, all it really takes is for someone to open his mouth at the right moment — and out it comes.
How many of us have heard a child come out with the most outrageous and timely Truth without for one second understanding the import of what he is saying?
But a willing spirit, is whom God will use most times.
A prophetic person might receive a timely word for The Church or for the person in front of them.
They may even receive quite a lengthy prophecy which they give out to their audience of between one and possibly hundreds.
Yet, too, and very sadly, ‘prophets’ are as fickle as anyone else.
They can be just as jealous, critical, dismissive, even scornful of anyone they do not credit with being a fellow prophet.
Do we all think that, just for a while, we can all just ‘can’ our egos and listen and weigh objectively the many words we are hearing today.
If the company of prophets, between them, cannot sort the wheat from the chaff, prophetically speaking, then what hope has the poor Church with no other voice to listen to bar the bleating and braying of those mostly self-appointed few.
Many of the prophetic voices we hear are sound prophetic voices, well practiced in the discerning of God’s Voice in the midst of the storm.
Sadly, too many are not.
Let the company of prophets come together in unity and weigh the plethora of words between them before pronouncing, or as more recently, repeating what everyone else is prophesying as if it were uniquely his own Word

Thanks Brother, well put. Some people turned their backs because they got to hear untrue things. But the Holy Spirit gives advice what to read and listen to.
Thank you, that you let the Lord Jesus speak encouragement through you. We need encouragement in these days and true fellowship in Christ Jesus, it is all about HIM, not people. God bless
I was taught that it was more important to discern the ‘spirit’ behind the words, than the actual words:
Does it edify?
Does it agree with Scripture?
Does it glorify Jesus?
Does it bear good fruit?
Did it come true?
Does it encourage obedience to God?
Does it bring a sense of freedom, peace and confidence?
Does it bring fresh life?
Does your spirit bear witness?……….Derek Prince Ministries
Personally, I love it when prophecies agree with one another. To me, it’s a confirmation of what the ‘Spirit’ is saying across His body of believers. Who am I? A nobody. But I’ve been so blessed of late by this site. Thank you all and bless you. ❤️
We too are so blessed by this HKP site. Thank you for your encouraging comments. You are a blessing to all who read this
