On this Resurrection Day I am thankful for Jesus’ sacrifice!

I had a Vision once while in prayer of Him on The Cross.

Then I saw every type of sin cover his body — thus the Scripture: “He became sin who knew no sin.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

It looked to me like he became all that filth as he was on The Cross.

What struck me was how pure, sinless and Holy He was before and how this sin touched such pureness.

I began to weep uncontrollably. I came to myself in a puddle of tears. I shall never forget it. Truly He carried our sorrows!

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-6.

But on the Third Day He arose victorious!

Now it says in Colossians 2 that you now were buried with Him in Baptism and raised with him, oh Glory to God!

“…. Buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:12-15.

Come on somebody! You ought to rejoice!

This is The Gospel! The good news!
