My Favorite Picture
A psalm to praise and sing to God aloud.
My Favorite Picture
My favorite picture, LORD JESUS,
Is the one where You carry a lamb on Your Shoulders
Oh LORD, You are beaming jubilantly
At that little lamb like it means everything
Behind You is an endless field of golden glory—
Going on and on and on and on….
Whenever I feel down
I visualize You, LORD JESUS,
Carrying me just like that little lamb
Then all my worries fade away
Then all my cares become nothing
Cause I know You are more than a just picture
You are more than just a name
You are my one and only Savior
You mean more to me than the world
And my soul knows it very well…
Going on and on and on and on….
You carry me through everything…
Some nights I sing a lullaby to You
That I am secure in Your Arms where I belong
Total trust envelopes me
And I fall into a sweet sleep…
Oh my soul knows it very well…
Going on and on and on and on….
You carry me through everything…
You hold me close and never will You let me go…
My favorite picture, LORD JESUS,
Is not just some picture
It’s not just some dream
You’re real and living
Filled with peace and joy
Filled with love unspeakable…
Oh my soul knows it very well…
Going on and on and on and on….
You carry me through everything…
You hold me close and never will You let me go…
Oh my soul knows it very well..
My favorite picture, LORD JESUS,
Is the one where You carry me on Your Shoulders
Oh LORD, You are beaming jubilantly
At me, for I am Your everything
Behind us
Around us
Ahead of us
Is an endless field of golden glory—
Going on and on and on and on….
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” John 10:27-30 NKJV.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV.
“…that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:20 NKJV.
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalm 23:1-6 NKJV.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2 NKJV.
“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV.
~ by Gabrielle Fuehrer
Gabrielle Fuehrer came to The LORD in Spring 2020 and soon began receiving inspiration from The Holy Spirit in the form of Poems (Psalms), meant to praise, glorify and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and uplift the Body of Christ. A preschool teacher, surrounded by the blessings and love of the little ones she teaches, Gabrielle also runs the website, “Imagine a Love Like That“.
“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.

Amen and Amen. I have this same frame(picture) of Jesus carrying a sheep & holding the sheep on HIs shoulder with one hand & with a Shepherd staff in the other hand hanging on my bedroom wall above my bed. The picture is tagged” Jesus the Good Shepherd”.
When am in difficulty especially financial among others,I face the wall looking straight at my Father Jesus the Good Shepherd & I pray to HIM to come to my aid and HE has never failed me!
Yes, my father our LORD Jesus Christ is always carrying me through everything.
Thank you Dear Gabrielle for sharing
More Grace.
[ HKP : “Years ago, when illness prevented me from walking, Psalm 23 helped me learn to walk again. After working through the entire psalm line by line, as part of my physiotherapy, I was able to walk once more. This psalm is an anchor in my life.” ]
