Given the closeness of Revival, it seems appropriate to repost this Guide.

In conversation with a friend today, we ‘decided’ that, although the Word calls for us to repent, as In 2 Chronicles 7:14, nobody has any idea of HOW to pray, or HOW to repent.

Nobody from the Apostolic Leadership in The United Kingdom, nor anyone from the Prophetic Leadership has ever given us a lead, or even advice, on HOW to repent or HOW to pray!

So after some prayerful consideration, here is a list, in no particular priority sequence, of HOW to pray our Prayers of Repentance!

I’m very aware that I’m nobody in particular and that I have no leadership credentials, but we have start somewhere before Revival passes us by for lack of Repentance.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Prayer for Repentance

• LORD we have sinned and wandered far from the path You set before us.
• Convict us LORD, by Your Holy Spirit, as we confess our sin and fall down in repentance before You.
• Forgive our own personal sins.
• Forgive us for ignoring Your Word and your prophets.
• Forgive us for doing things OUR way rather than Your way.
• Forgive our unwillingness to be accountable to You or to each other.
• Forgive us for our continued sacrifice of children in the name and practice of abortion.
• Forgive us making this covid an idol.
• Forgive us bowing to man’s opinion rather than YOUR opinion.
• Forgive our tolerance of intolerance, our racial and sexual unforgiveness and disunity.
• Forgive our unforgiveness of those who seek to cause us harm or who speak against us.
• Forgive our constant spirit of offence.
• Forgive our apathy and lukewarmness.
• Forgive us that which we teach our children in schools which is offensive to You or which contradicts Your Word.
• Forgive us for calling good what You call bad, and calling bad what you call good.
• Forgive us ignoring the abuse of those who cannot defend themselves.
• Forgive our tolerance of political corruption.
• Forgive us for not taking our rightful place as Watchmen for your Kingdom, for not exercising our Kingdom Authority.
• Forgive us for allowing the Name of Jesus to be reviled and dragged through the mud.
• Forgive our lack of eternal Kingdom perspective.
• Forgive us for allowing Your Church to be shut and silenced.
• Guide us, LORD, to repent of our sins. Help us to turn right around and go the other way, Your way, LORD.
• Forgive us LORD, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
