Unrelenting Pursuit of God
The LORD is looking for people who are desperate for Him.
Some of you are like Elisha, who slaughtered his yoke of oxen, burned his plowing equipment, and cooked the meat to feed the people, then set out to follow Elijah.
The LORD says “I will honor your sacrifice.”
Others are like Jacob, who wrestled with the angel saying, “I won’t let you go until you bless me”.
The LORD says: “Your perseverance will be rewarded.”
And some are like Zacchaeus, who climbed a sycamore tree just to see Jesus walk by, The LORD says, “I will come to your house today to visit you.”
There are those of you like the men who brought a paraplegic to Jesus.
The crowds were so large that they couldn’t get in the room where He was, so they tore off the roof and lowered the man down on a stretcher.
Jesus said, “Your sins are forgiven.” (Luke 7:48-50)
The man was healed. For those of you who have been continually bringing your family before the throne of God, The LORD says, “I will heal them and forgive their sins.”
For those of you like Peter, who said “Lord we have left everything to follow You” (Matthew 19:27) The LORD says: “For anyone who has left behind their home and property, leaving family — brothers or sisters, mothers or fathers, or children — for My sake, they will be repaid a hundred times over and will inherit eternal life.
But many who push themselves to be first will find themselves last.
And those who are willing to be last — will find themselves to be first!”
Those who are like the woman who touched Jesus’ cloak, (mantle) knowing she would be made whole.
The LORD says: “Your faith has made you whole!”
His garment was a prayer shawl with blue tassels on the hem. In Numbers 15:37-40 The LORD instructed Moses to tell the Israelites to make tassels (tzitzit) on the corners of their garments, to remind them of His commandments.
They were also a sign of holiness. As I studied this scripture, I found that this woman actually touched the blue tassel (kraspedon) on the hem of Jesus robe and she was immediately made whole. Jesus turned around and asked: “Who touched Me?” That word touch means fasten oneself to, and cling to.
The LORD is looking for those who will press in no matter what the cost, those who are determined to connect with Jesus and will not be afraid to press in through the crowds.
They’ll confront any dispute or debate, and draw on His anointing to hear His voice.
It is His anointing that heals and His anointing sets people free.
It will remove the heavy burden from your shoulders and destroy the yoke of bondage, Press in to receive strategies and direction for your nation.
Press in to receive a blueprint for your life.
As you press in you will receive divine heavenly insight. He’ll answer those who are hungry and visit those who desire a closer relationship with Him.
Your desperation, hunger and thirst are the prerequisite for receiving the revelation and the wisdom from The LORD.
He is a rewarder for those who diligently seek Him, and He is searching for those who have a heart after Him.
For those of you who are hungering for righteousness, “You shall be filled” says The LORD
“So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.” 1 Kings 19:21.
“Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”” Mark 2:3-5.
“But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace,” ” Luke 8:46-48.
