Is There Such a Place of ‘Eternal Fire’ Taught in The Bible?
Is there such a place of “Eternal Fire” taught in The Bible?
Let me ask you a question, does The Holy Bible talk about heaven?
Absolutely it does for sure, but again — does the same bible talks about a place of Eternal Fire?
In the King James Version Bible the translators freely used the word “Hell” in the place of the Bible Names such as Hades, Sheol or Abrahams Bosom, and Gehenna, or the Lake of Fire.
In this study, I will not go into these different names, but simply refer to it as a Place of Eternal Fire.
It will be a good study to explore all the names and the verses in The Bible where they are used, and why, but later.
Did Jesus Christ talk about a place of Eternal Fire? Of course He did!
As a matter fact, he said more about Eternal Fire (a place of torment) than He did about Heaven.
It would not then be advisable for anyone to teach, saying, “There is no Eternal Fire!” or to question its existence.
The day of Judgment is coming. All the unsaved will be in Eternal Fire (and Torment).
Many Preachers today never talk about a place like Eternal Fire for the wicked. In the past, many did preach about Eternal Fire and warn people about going there, but, now they are silent on this subject.
Why? Because they do not like the subject of eternal judgment by Fire.
Many say: “A loving God would never send any person to a terrible Eternal Fire.”
But The Bible does speak a lot about Eternal Fire and torment of all the wicked who reject Jesus Christ in order to live in sin.
I once heard it said:
“If you make a profession of Faith, then find out after you die that The Bible was not true and Jesus did not save, and there is no eternal judgment in Fire, then you have lost nothing!
But…..
If you reject Jesus Christ and The Bible and live in sin, then after you die you find out that Jesus really was true — and The Bible was true too — then you end up burning forever in Fire and Torment!
Then you will have lost everything forever and will be eternally tormented! With no way of escape!”
Would it not be better to trust Jesus Christ now?
The answer is yes!
Yet many here are just going on day by day, unconcerned about where they will live forever.
Life will for them suddenly come to an end, then they will be forever sorry they did not trust Jesus Christ and believe.
Warning:
Jesus did say there is a place of Eternal Fire and torment.
Do not play around with this Truth.
Turn to Jesus Christ today and trust him for eternal life.

I want to now post some things now that Jesus Christ said about a Place of Eternal Fire and Torment:
In Luke 16 Jesus said:
“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: and there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: for I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” Luke 16:19-30
Read again Mark 9 where Jesus said:
“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” Mark 9:43-48
Also read Matthew 10 where Jesus said:
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28
Stop sinner stop!

“When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned nor shall the flame scorch you.Isa.43:2
It is only the fire that is eternal, not the sinners that are in it, they will go to destruction while the faithful will come out as gold.
It is the fire of God that is eternal. There is only one eternal life not “two”.
If you read diligently you will see that everyone will be cast into it. But only those who will walk like Daniel in (that fire) will be saved.
The fire is His fiery law ( Deuteronomy) that issues forth as a river from the Throne (Daniel) to become the lake of fire (Revelation ). The object of His judgement for the inhabitants of the earth will learn Righteousness. He is the propitiation not only for our sins, but the sins of the whole world. He paid for ALL. In Christ all shall live. Eternal/everlasting – Hebrew ” olam ” and Greek ” aonian ” are unspecific lengths of time or ” age lasting.”
Your comment was right on the money. Jesus said if I be lifted up I will draw all people to myself. Jesus asked the Father to forgive His enemies and we are to forgive ours. God is love and there are hundreds of scriptures saying that He will save all. The bible has some mis-translations of words and that’s where the problem is. The old testament never mentioned a placed called hell and the apostles never warn the people of such a place. We’ve made our God to be a worse tyrant than Hitler etc. The teaching of eternal torment in hell only started about 500 years AC. Before you jump on my case, Ask the Father to teach you His love for all people.
Amen. Thank you Bill. Soon more people will see and understand this end time message.
Thank you for making it clear that many need to seek this clarity.
Blessings to you.
Truer words have never been spoken my brother! We need to reach the lost with every fibre of our being and work while it is still day. God bless you.
