The Fallacy of Cessationism

A sombre Dream, but one with Hope and one eye on Eternity!

In my awakening this morning, I had a recurring very short Vision.  Then I remembered the Dream I’d had in the early hours of the morning.

Those who know me will know that I rarely remember dreams from the night.  I don’t know why — I just don’t — unless The LORD has something to say to His People.

That was the case last night!

I saw old trucks, at least 70/80 or more years old!  They were carrying pigs, sheep, and occasional cows.

They were driving round, mostly at night, stopping at buildings where apparently starving people were gathered awaiting, anticipating, their arrival.

An animal was unloaded according to the number needing to be fed — 20 per sheep, 40 per pig, 60 per cow, and so on.

I didn’t see what happened but I understood the animals were used for food for the people.

Nothing was wasted; everything was used; such was the hunger of the people!

So, what’s this all about LORD?

“The days and time is coming when, such will be the desperation of many people, that the only ‘food’ they will get will come from the discarded assets of the ‘old’ Church!

So much of My Church has given up on the basics of the First Church, that only a remnant of that First Church will be able to supply the Spiritual Needs of many who are lost and without hope!

What you see is the ‘old’ Church supplying the spiritual needs of a people starved of the reality of Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit — particularly The Holy Spirit!

Cessationism is not only an overt position taken by some of The Church, it is the unspoken position of the many many Churches who totally ignore both the teaching and presence of The Holy Spirit in their meetings!

As a consequence, the needs of so much of The Church falls upon the followers and believers in the ‘old teachings’ of the Scriptures.

These precious saints still carry the Power and Presence of The Holy Spirit, Who has never left — but has become increasingly ignored and therefore assumed irrelevant!”

The Holy Spirit is about to manifest in ways we never imagined.

He will feed The LORD’s People in ways we don’t yet understand.

He is about to lead The Church into a time of Harvest, Revival, Miracles, Signs and Wonders that will once again cause much of the world to stop and reconsider their own ways as against God’s Ways — and His power will be manifest for all to see.

“I AM bringing the ‘Valley of Decision’ of Joel 3:14 into reality!”, says The LORD Almighty.

“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!   For the day of The LORD is near in the Valley of Decision.”    Joel 3:14.
