False Expectations: One of Satan’s Greatest Weapons — 9 Comments

  1. It is true that certain “charismatics” have gone into excess, but what is just as dangerous is going to the extreme swing of the pendulum. Spiritual maturity is also essential. Ty is right there…but almost everything else is out of whack. Jesus fully restored their hope and expectation. Keep reading after Luke 24:26. Read also John 20 and 21. Read after Acts 1:6. Start looking from the Jewish perspective because they were Jews and so was Jesus. May I ask Ty how long he has been a Christian and what justifies his attak on “charismatics” or for that matter “Pentecostals”. Balance such comments before going public as it is a ittle misleadig

  2. When we know we have authority given to us by God, there’s nothing impossible. Greater works will you do is what His word declares. I once tolerated fearful storms, tornadoes, etc until I started speaking God’s word in authority to those storms. They leave when i take authority in Jesus’ name now!

  4. Amen!  Been there, done that, and have been just about totally shipwrecked in my Charismatic faith (my fault), so I agree with you, Ty.  Many thanks for your sound teachings.

  5. “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.””
    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭

  6. “So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.””
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭

  7. “So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.””
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬-‭21
