Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem
A psalm to praise and sing to God, aloud.
Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Pray for its people
Pray for the precious Holy Land
The apple of His Eye
The House of David
The people of Jacob—
Abraham’s descendants
From north to south
From east to west
From the Sea of Galilee
Down along the Jordan River
From the Negev Desert
Over to the Mediterranean Sea
God has set this land aside for His people to thrive
A bountiful land of wonderful milk and honey
He shall collect them from afar
Bring them back to the ancient land
Give them peace and prosperity once again
Make His Face shine upon them
Oh, God’s Will will be done!
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Pray for its people
Pray for the precious Holy Land
The apple of His Eye
The House of David
The people of Jacob—
Abraham’s descendants
Oh blessed be Jerusalem
The place of His Abode, Mount Zion!
All will know He is The LORD
The land of the Twelve Tribes
Always is His Heart with them!
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Pray for its people
Pray for the precious Holy Land
The apple of His Eye
The House of David
The people of Jacob—
Abraham’s descendants
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Pray for its people
Pray for the Holy Land
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Pray for its people
Pray for the Holy Land
Always is His Heart with them
