“I find it incredible that Christ would die for the sinner in all their mess yet we’re the ones who look at them and scorn.
Only Heaven will tell how many people we turned off to The LORD by how we treat the unsaved and newly saved.” — Linda G Bennett
“I find it incredible that Christ would die for the sinner in all their mess yet we’re the ones who look at them and scorn.”
If ever there was a statement to condemn the hypocrisy in churches, this is it.
I have heard the questions — “Do we really want people like that in church?” and “Oh, I didn’t realise you were like that.”
Where has the love and compassion gone from our faith?
Did Jesus not die for ALL, or was it only for the saved?
“Only Heaven will tell how many people we turned off to The LORD by how we treat the unsaved and newly saved.”
How we condemn ourselves by the way we treat others.
Not-yet Christians, and new Christians need to be loved into the Kingdom, not shunned away or out of it.
It starts with the shepherds and spreads down through the flock.
When you stand before the Throne of Judgement, how will you answer for the way you treated people who turned away from God because of you and your attitude?
